Science magazine names AlphaFold of deep mind as 2021 scientific breakthrough. The claim is that AI algorithm "solves" the folding problem by predicting 3D molecular structure of proteins. Although, rules of folding remains unknown.

In that sense, this achievement will advance F@H simulation and search of new targets for proteins and potential therapies for diseases : oncology, covid, others.

It should increase demand for F@H, where Banano team is leading by providing computational power.

This progress of deepmind will most probably impact research in other fields like physic, atmosphere prediction etc.
