There are so many blockchains, protocols, L1’s, L2s etc….. hard to know where to look particularly for outliers that could pull another Solana.

Smart money seems to be bullish this 2022 on Atom and Avax and FANTOM but think how far Avax has already run etc.

One chain that intrigues me is VELAS.

VELAS is a fork of Solana with EVM compatibility whose mainnet launched in 2019

They describes themselves as having the fastest EVM chain to compete with Eth 2.0 offering DApps 75k transactions a second!

Has over 100nodes, only 42 validators and 741million staked. It’s small but sounds powerful and is growing

They have an active social media presence and have been splashing out on sponsorships

Ferrari!!!

They have an active telegram and seems to be putting lots into dev work.

Defi llama shows relatively small TVL and their Dex is Waguswap.

Who knows what the future holds….. may go nowhere but some of the fundamentals sounds good. I just don’t hear you tube influencers, crypto channels and others mentioning the chain at all?

The token is on various exchanges but not major ones - they are on KuCoin.
