5 Golden tips to increase engagement

  when it comes to a genuine good post there is no need for shortcut , but why not use some Technique to keep engagement up.

[ question, vote, pre, hook, controversy ]

these are the 1 + 4 horsemen of post context ,

question:

Asking valid questions in the post makes, the resulting feedback to be engagement, if you check my previous post you can notice i asked 2 public questions @kryptokitty answer/feedback was golden, the engagement i consider a bonus. to know what that is keep reading the post.

vote:

as the name suggest it's a simple pole to give a chance for people to agree/disagree with a matter or choose between options. keep the fun and engagement up on your post

Related stories

pre:

mentioning your previous post in your new post with relation to the subject will help people to engage in you previous post thus doubling your over all engagement in you early published  post using you new  one.

 ie.

  { check out my previous post to know how to make money spending money and the one before that to know why your post sucks }

hook:

Do you  want to increase the potential engagement of your new post even before you publish it? this is how. give   a hook or a glimpse to your upcoming post in your already published post .

ie.

 if you check my previous post, i have already mentioned the title of this post , another way you can use this is to give a Easter egg  in your post to want people to keep reading this, like when i said read the full post to see what @kryptokitty said, and what she said is worth knowing.

controversy:

this is the best way to keep people engaged but this is risky and dangerous. (i don't recommend) it's like a grenade, if you throw it and it comes back   "you died "

ie.

 in my first post when i asked for a vote on the matter whether  BBS is more news's channel than Instagram, i was hoping for a pole a vote....

but that question blow up in my face as it became a controversy topic, because I'm new here and clueless of most things and all the veterans being just awesome people , instead of being bullied i got good advisees and made so many new friend, it became a happy accident. check out the post to see what @newlegend and other said on the matter .

 i don't know if there are any thing called a good controversy so i don't recommends this

{ any way here is a controversy topic for you , in my next post going to expose a ' myth' whether it is true or fake  " what can i say i have a self-destructing personality }

why your post shouldn't be too long

Time is not not valuable people....lest be honest most of us don't read the whole news paper we skim the titles and only engage in interesting topics . quality over quantity.....

  would you rather drink a glass of water with a spoon of sugar or a gallon of water with the same amount of sugar ? me personally would not want either just the spoon of sugar. this is not strict but this is reality.

ie.

 i think my previous post was too long,  even it was all useful information no one would be exited to read 50 pages.. i know didn't read it once after publishing i skimmed it to see if there is mistake... Not to mention our community FAQ, is all use full well written important information, but i haven't finished reading 20% of it yet even when i know it is important and i need to study it ASAP.

WORDS OF WISDOM PANEL

Most helpful observation/feedback from previous post

@kryptokitty

"I can add the fact that you need to interact a lot in others posts and get to know each other better… For ex I know who made good charts or I know who is going to make an interactive post… or who makes a post about coins( a good one) .. I know most of the people that engage in my posts and we can have a great engagement together 😜😜.. and I don’t care if I own or not that post. I do the engagement because I know the person and we have shared good comments in our history"
