GAMEPLAY
MonkeyBall is a quick, turned-based, Play-to-Earn arcade soccer game that gives everyone a chance to play and earn.Players build their ultimate MonkeyBall team consisting of 4 Monkeys to fill the positions of the Striker, Midfielder, Defender, and Goalkeeper. Although each Monkey can play any position, each unique Monkey has inherent abilities that make it better in a specific role. Matches are played between two teams and consist of 12 rounds - 6 rounds per half. A round finishes when the two teams complete their turns. In their turns, each team can perform three actions - moving a player, dribbling, passing or shooting the ball, or a Special Moves. Each turn ends after a player has performed their actions or clicked “End Turn”.For each action a player performs, his unique abilities are challenged by his opponent. For example, when kicking to score a goal, a players’ accuracy score is challenged by the goalkeeper's agility. Similarly, when trying to dribble, a Striker's dribble score is challenged by the opponent's Midfielder's strength. While some players' abilities are set and dictated by how rare the monkey is, other abilities can be trained and developed over time.

All multiplayer games are played in stadiums and watched by spectators. Stadium owners are rewarded for each game they host, while spectators influence the gameplay by rooting for a team and increasing the team’s morale. When a game is finished, the in-game currency token, MonkeyBucks ($MBS), is split and distributed among the winning team (75%), the Stadium owner (15%), and the spectators who have rooted for the winning team (10%).

MONKEYS (PLAYERS)
Monkeys are the team’s players, introduced by NFT assets owned by game players. Monkeys serve as an income generator, allowing a player to earn MonkeyBucks ($MBS) by winning games. Monkey NFTs are not simply a beautiful and rare collectible, they are an in-game asset that affects the ability to play and win matches. Each Monkey NFT has a unique DNA composed of its' Appearance, Trainable Abilities, and Special Moves.
Appearance: Each Monkey's appearance is derived from a DNA pool of countless possible traits ranging from common to rare, making each Monkey's appearance truly unique. Generation Zero of the Monkeys will be limited to 5055 out of nearly 4 Billion possible permutations, illustrating the rarity of each NFT.The more rare a Monkey NFT is, the higher its “Alpha Factor”, which increases the Monkey's ability to perform Special Moves. Trainable abilities: Each Monkey has four main abilities:

Each Monkey is born with an initial and a maximum potential score for each ability. A rare monkey NFT will have a high initial score for any of his abilities and/or a high potential score. Each monkey also has the ability to perform combination and special moves. When Monkeys consume in-game items - their scores improve. Elements: Monkeys are also born with unique factors, or elements, for each of their actions. For example, some Monkeys will have a better factor when kicking from the left side of the field compared to other Monkeys. Other unique factors may include Ball Interception, Dribble, Courage, and more. Monkeys' elements influence their abilities and also dictate in which position each will perform better - whether as a Score, Midfielder, Defender, or Goalkeeper. Rare Monkeys will have higher factors in a specific role, compared to other, more common Monkeys.
STADIUMS (LAND)
In MonkeyBall’s metaverse, Stadiums are Land assets that are introduced by NFTs and owned by Players.Stadiums serve as a passive form for their owners to earn Monkey Bucks revenue.Matches between teams are hosted in Stadiums, guided by the level of the Stadium and additional game and token mechanics. Stadium owners who host games, tournaments, and special events collect a fee from the game platform.When not hosting a game between 3rd party teams, Stadiums can be used to train the owner's Monkeys, improving their abilities and source game items.Stadium owners can upgrade their stadiums by building and acquiring special facilities, as well as creating unique competitions and special events to attract more users to the Stadium.
SPECTATORS
Game players can also earn passive MonkeyBucks by being Spectators, or watching other players’ matches and rooting for a team that ends up winning the match. Being a spectator and rooting for a team is an easy task that's not only rewarding for the spectator but impacts the overall results of the match by boosting the morale of the team playing.
Not only can Spectators earn from watching matches and selecting the winning team but they can use the opportunity to analyze other teams to in order to improve their own gameplay.
Spectators can also acquire game items and boosters to upgrade their ability to select the winning team and increase their MonkeyBucks revenue. Spectators are not introduced by NFTs.

MONKEYBUCKS($MBS)
MonkeyBucks is the in-game currency powering the game economy. Players get $MBS by buying it on DEXs, opening loot boxes, completing missions, winning matches, being a Spectator, or hosting games in your Stadiums.
Players spend $MBS to breed new Monkeys and to buy consumable items in the game's store. The game’s store revenue is then sent to the game’s treasury.
DAO GOVERNANCE TOKEN ($SCORE):
MonkeyBall’s platform will be governed by a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).Voting and governance practices will be gradually implemented alongside economic decisions that affect the game’s treasury.The $SCORE token will not be sold, but farmed by early holders of the $MBS token. The $SCORE token can be staked in the game’s treasury for users to vote and gain $SCORE rewards for their participation. Staking $SCORE also affects how valuable players' assets become (for example, staking $SCORE increases the chance of a player’s stadium to host a game). Holding $SCORE gives you early access to NFT drops and land (stadium) sales. $SCORE is a fixed supply token, which will gradually release over five years
TREASURY
The Treasury is at the heart of the feedback loop that drives the demand within our ecosystem. Once live, fees and direct sales in the game’s metaverse will be deposited in the Treasury.MonkeyBall’s Treasury will produce revenues from transaction fees collected in the in-game marketplace, game store, breeding fees, and other initiatives. In addition, players who stake $SCORE in the treasury will receive $SCORE rewards for their participation.To build healthy liquidity for both tokens, MonkeyBall will reward liquidity providers for $SCORE and $MBS various pairs.

PRIVATE SALE
The MonkeyBall platform raised seed funding in a single-round private sale of $MBS to early contributors during the fourth quarter of 2021. The private sale allocation represents 14% of the total $MBS supply.
LAUNCHPAD
MonkeyBall platform will also raise a limited amount of public funding using a launchpad during the fourth quarter of 2021. The launchpad allocation represents 1% of the total $MBS supply.
TEAM
The team allocation represents 12.5% of the total $MBS supply.
The development team behind MonkeyBall will remain incentivized to keep building and improving the game for the long term. This is achieved by enforcing a long cliff and a gradual vesting of the tokens.
DEVELOPMENT
The development allocation represents 5% of the total $MBS supply.
The development allocation will assist in incentivizing community members and other third parties to contribute to the game's development.
PARTNERS & ADVISORS
The partners and advisors allocation represents 2% of the total $MBS supply.

LIQUIDITY
The liquidity allocation represents 5% of the total $MBS supply.
Similar to all other tokens, we must allocate some of the supply for future liquidity provision through the life of the token, we estimate an initial share of the allocation will be required immediately upon the TGE, while the rest would be used throughout the next months.
PLAYERS & ECOSYSTEM
The players and ecosystem allocation represents 58% of the total $MBS supply.
The goal of these tokens is to incentivize a wide range of people to participate and engage with the game (play-to-earn), thus powering the in-game economy. These tokens will be automatically distributed to MonkeyBall’s participants in exchange for various activities, such as competing and winning matches, using the marketplace, breeding monkeys, and more.
