The second part of Joshua 1:8 says that,"For then you will make your way prosperous, and you will have good success"

The formula for getting the above is in the first part of Joshua 1:8

...Meditate on the Book of the Law  ... in order to do according to all that is written therein.

You will have confidence in yourself as you see yourself as how God sees you 

You will have the confidence to do what is right in spite of opposition

You will not give up but will press on to achieve what God has in store for you.
