New stack incoming to collectors.....

We're celebrating 100 monKeystacks! This just started one year ago with the idea to have more community contribution for NFT art and ideas, and I think it's a pretty awesome collection and reflection of all the talent in the monKeyverse. Looking forward to many more and hopefully also more finally more utility within the next year Epic moments require epic NFTs, thus we're airdropping this  Epic monKeystack to collectors. To give everyone the chance and still reward most dedicated and loyal collectors, here's a high level description of different categories the airdrop will go to: 1) top cryptomonKeys collectors (wallets holding most different templates) 2) top monKeystacks collectors (wallets holding most different templates) 3) top cryptomonKeys collectors (wallets holding the highest total number of cryptomonKeys) 4) top monKeystacks collectors (wallets holding the hightest total number of monKeystacks) 5) random between all wallets holding at least all common+uncommon cryptomonKeys 6) random between all owning at least all common+uncommon+rare monKeystacks To clarify, for 1, 2, 5, 6 there's no advantage of holding more than one mint per template. There is however an advantage of holding more for 3 and 4. Note: For 6 scarcely distributed, new NFTs will likely be excluded so if some are really hard to get before the deadline don't worry too much about that. Snapshot will be taken after October 9 and before October 19. We'll let you know immediately after snapshots have been taken. Zero to 450 wings

This is best done with a pellet smoker, but I imagine you can tailor it as needed to an oven or a normal grill.  I like to take about 30 thawed wings, and put them in a freezer bag with 1 tbsp of olive oil, and an "eyeballed amount" of seasoning.  Tonight I used Chef Merito Pollo seasoning. Take the wings and place them on a cold pellet smoker. Close the lid as turn on the smoker, setting the temp to 450F degrees. After 25 minutes, open the lid and flip the wings. Have an instant read thermometer ready, because 5-10 minutes after the flip, you need to check the wings.  When the internal temp of all wings is above 165F, remove them to a bowl that you can place a lid on, and let them rest uncovered for 5 minutes. After five minutes, add your desired sauce to the bowl (tonight I used a mixture of buffalo sauce, sriracha, and some mustard based bbq sauce) place the lid on top, and spin/shake the bowl around to coat all the wings. Voila! Enjoy your delightfully smoky and wonderfully done chicken wings!4y

New event: monKey chef!

Alright fam, it is time for another contest, this time I need you to don your toques and get to cheffin! Requirements: Post a recipe (it does not have to be your own recipe, but you DO have to be the one that cooks it to be eligible) with some pictures of your dish that you would like to share.  Include your discord handle in your post, or add it to your BBS profile, so I know whom to drop it to. The results of your cooking need not be flawless, they do not need to be fancy, in fact, the winner is not even up to me in the first place, its up to all of you!  The intent is to learn from each other, share some recipes (and probably some fails) and have fun together. We will run this event for all of July, and results will be tallied in August.   The Recipe with the highest reputation score (I had to change this, as BBS changed its mechanics during the contest) will be the overall winner and will receive a monKeypack.  The top 10 highest entries in thumbs ups will get a drop on discord (must be in the cryptomonKeys discord to receive a drop, visit chat.cryptomonKeys.cc to join).  In the event of a tie for first place, the thumbs up will be the tiebreaker. In the event of a tie in both, I will be the tiebreaker. Rules: Must be your original content, it does not have to be an original recipe. Post the recipe for other monKeys to try along with AT LEAST a photo of the final result. Have fun and cook something awesome. Mine just went on….  recipe and end product coming soon(tm)4y

BBS cryptomonKeys meme contest!!!

Its kinda quiet and dark in this space right now, so I have been doing some thinking, and have decided we need to spruce it up a bit... we clearly need MEMES!!!!! What better way to get some life in here than some good old fashioned homebrewed memes from this awesome community? The loot: The 10 original memes with the most thumbs ups on Saturday morning, 14 May, will catch a ,drop on discord.  Not on discord? Not a problem come join us at  The meme with the highest dollar value (in CMONKEY of course) at the end will receive a monkeypack!!! The Rules: 1. Submissions must be your original content.  Must be cryptomonKey themed. Don't steal memes, including your own that already exist in the space. Let's liven things up around here

As I have been checking this spot daily, making sure things are in order (they normally are, mostly because we have gotten quiet) I have been thinking of things we can do here to "spice it up" a little.  I have already started thinking about the low hanging fruit (giveaways obviously) but you tell us, what can we do to make BBS more entertaining/worth your time to visit?  I will say this, expect some giveaways and contests soon, but I want to know your ideas, especially since you likely have so many.  Please, if you have any suggestions, reply to this post or ping me in discord (@hubbardalmighty). In memoriam

If you dont know, over the last 48 hours or so, r/place was back on reddit. A giant blank canvas where users can make images cooperatively one pixel at a time.  Banano was on the map early, and then got completely wiped.  We were hanging tough to the bitter end, but now you can only place white pixels, and the community is erasing everything.  Humans kinda suck.  But, thats okay, I grabbed this image before I refreshed, one I defended all afternoon.  I wanted to post it here for posterity.  It was a good time regardless.4y
