BBS owners

BBS owners are those who created the boards (similar to creating and managing a new subreddit or a facebook group).

Boards generate revenue from advertising in BBS tokens, either from external advertisers or from the BBS Network Engagement Mining program.

Engagement Mining is the process in which 50% of the BBS token supply is distributed to the different boards in the form of ad revenue.

For example: If a BBS has 10% of the total impressions of the entire BBS network, they will receive 10% of the total daily distribution of BBS token.

When BBS Tokens are deposited in a specific board:

- 10% of the deposited BBS goes directly to the BBS operator and the BBS DAO.

- 20% of the deposited BBS goes directly to the BBS owner wallet.

Community currency (CC)

Each BBS has their own Community Currency, or CC. 1 CC is pegged to 1 USD and acts as an internal currency for the BBS. The CC is given as bonuses to engaging members. The role of the CC is to allow members to purchase (speculate) on posts that generate ad revenues.

Post Publishers

Each post has a banner. Advertisers, as well as the engagement mining bot - can bid to purchase ad spaces in the BBS.

Post publishers receive 50% of the revenue in the CC, and their cash-out balance is increased by 10% of that amount (Only initially. This number will be gradually increasing as we monitor the new economics)

Post Owners

Every published post across the BBS Network is actually an NFT, and can be purchased by any community member with the CC. New posts are available at the default initial price (currently $0.30), while anyone can purchase any post by paying the last price + 30%.

Post owners receive 50% of the revenue in the CC, and their cash-out balance is increased by 10% of that amount (Only initially)

CC Bonuses Rewards

CC Bonuses are given daily to the BBS members to allow them to participate in the economy without needing to deposit funds. Anyone can join a board, receive community currency bonuses and use it to purchase revenue generating posts. It’s important to note that CC’s are not withdrawable beyond the current cash-out limit.

Join Bonus: 2 CC is awarded for joining a BBS

Visiting Bonus: 0.5 CC is awarded the first time a user visits a BBS each day

Purchasing Bonus: 1 CC is awarded for the first post a user purchases each day

Bring a friend bonus: 1 CC is awarded for every member that joins after visiting the referrer profile page or post.
