Ahmed Shehzad questions Kamran Ghulam’s exclusion from Test squad

Pakistan Test cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has questioned the exclusion of middle-order batter Kamran Ghulam from the Pakistan squad for the upcoming Test series against England. I think it's quite intriguing to see Ahmed Shehzad questioning Kamran Ghulam's exclusion from the Test squad. It is understandable why fans and players would be surprised by the decision  especially considering Ghulam's consistent performance in domestic cricket. It is always a topic of debate when talented players like Ghulam are left out despite their strong performances and Shehzad's vocal criticism adds another layer to the discussion shedding light on the selection process and criteria used by the national team selectors. I believe that the PCB's statement about Ghulam and Mohammad Ali being part of the selectors' plans further adds to the confusion surrounding Ghulam's omission. The selectors' decisions are always closely scrutinized, and in this case, the fans' and players' reactions show how passionate the cricket community is about fair selections and recognizing deserving players. Ghulam's exclusion, especially with his recent success in the Champions One-Day Cup  raises valid questions about the transparency and consistency of the selection process highlighting the complexities and challenges faced in forming a national team squad. Iftikhar Ahmed acknowledges need for Pakistan to adopt attacking mindset

I believe Iftikhar Ahmed's comments shed light on the challenges faced by the Pakistan cricket team recently. The team's lack of an attacking approach seems to have contributed to their difficulties as highlighted by their disappointing performances in various tournaments over the past year. The early exits from the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 and the T20 World Cup 2024  coupled with the recent series loss to Bangladesh  have indeed put the team under scrutiny and raised concerns among fans and critics alike. In my opinion : Iftikhar Ahmed's emphasis on the necessity of adopting a more aggressive mindset is crucial for the team's future success. By encouraging a shift towards a more proactive and assertive style of play the team can potentially overcome their recent setbacks and strive for better outcomes in upcoming matches. This call for a change in approach reflects a recognition of the need for innovation and adaptability in the team's strategy  signaling a potential turning point towards a more competitive and resilient Pakistan cricket team. Irfan's ton hands Markhors first loss as Lions prevail in high-scoring contest

Irfan Khan Niazi’s swashbuckling century remained in the spotlight as the Lions registered a 35-run victory over leaders Markhors in the eighth match of the Champions One-Day Cup here at Iqbal Stadium on Friday. I think the match between the Lions and Markhors was quite intense with Irfan Khan Niazi's century shining bright in the spotlight. Despite the Markhors  valiant efforts, falling short by 35 runs must have been disappointing. The partnership between Fakhar Zaman and Salman Ali Agha showed promise but the consistent fall of wickets hindered their chase of the challenging 368 run target. Salman Ali Agha's aggressive batting was commendable but ultimately  the Lions  bowlers, especially skipper Shaheen Afridi  proved to be the difference makers in securing the victory. In cricket momentum swings can determine the outcome and it seems the Lions capitalized on crucial moments to emerge victorious. The Markhors' early promise with the bat couldn't be sustained  leading to a challenging run chase. Despite the loss, the fighting spirit displayed by Salman Ali Agha and the team's effort to stay in the game until the end showcased their resilience. It is a reminder of the unpredictable nature of cricket  where individual brilliance and team strategy play pivotal roles in shaping the outcome of a match. Overall it was an exciting contest with standout performances that made the match a compelling spectacle for cricket enthusiasts. What's your thoughts 🤔💭 about it  Regard: Cinderella Sep 21, 2024

Tom Latham 70 leads NZ's reply after O'Rourke five-for restricts SL to 305

Tom Latham 70 leads NZ's reply after O'Rourke five-for restricts SL to 305 I think Tom Latham's performance in the first Test against Sri Lanka was crucial in New Zealand's fightback. Scoring a well constructed 70 runs  Latham's innings not only anchored the innings but also helped reduce the deficit significantly. His partnership with Kane Williamson, who was unusually busy added stability to the New Zealand innings. Latham's proactive approach  especially his effective use of the sweep and reverse sweep against the struggling Sri Lankan spinners showcased his adaptability and skill in challenging conditions. Despite Conway's slow start  Latham's positive intent and ability to rotate the strike were instrumental in New Zealand's resurgence. Moreover  Sri Lanka's spinners facing difficulties with control due to the prevailing breeze highlighted the challenging conditions for bowlers. Lahiru Kumara's ability to maintain probing lines stood out amidst the spinners' struggles. The match dynamics shifted with Latham's aggressive batting style putting Sri Lanka on the back foot and giving New Zealand a fighting chance in the Test. Latham's innings not only boosted New Zealand's confidence but also illustrated the importance of adaptability and proactive batting in Test cricket, setting up an intriguing battle between the two sides in the remainder of the match. Babar Azam suffers steep decline, Rizwan makes big leap in ICC Test Rankings

DUBAI: Pakistan batter Babar Azam experienced a significant drop in his position, while wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan witnessed a substantial rise in the latest ICC Test Batting Rankings released on Wednesday. I think the recent shift in the ICC Test Batting Rankings for Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan reflects the dynamic nature of cricket and the impact of recent performances on individual players. Babar Azam's drop in the rankings can be attributed to his recent struggles in form, especially evident in the disappointing scores of 0 and 22 in the first Test against Bangladesh. PCB chief Naqvi laments lack of "tools for surgery" of Pakistan team

I think the statements made by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi shed light on a crucial issue within Pakistan's cricket system.
