Today our discussion is about the former head coach of Pakistan cricket team Mickey Arthur. He was the coach of pct in 2017 under whom pak won the champion trophy under the captaincy of former pakistani captain Sarfraz Ahmad.
He was removed as coach after the 2019 WC and Misbah was appointed as new coach by PCB chairman Ehsan Mani.
But after Najam Sethi took over the chairmanship of PCB again last month he sent proposal to Mickey Arthur to become coach again but he denied to accept that.
Mickey Arthur has rejected an approach to become Pakistan new head coach.
A position as a consultant or PSL coach could be agreed but he is not prepared to commit to the 12-month international calendar.
Opinion
I have mixed opinion on this bcz it is good to hire the foreign coaches bcz local coaches are always a failure whenever they offered. But if they want to hire foreign coaches they should look out an aggressive coach like mccullum or Justin Langer.
