As I look at my past and present, I ask myself the question, "What am I?"

Based on the way and speed at which I work, the answer is yes.

However being a PWD does not mean that I am not good or cannot be used by God

If God can use a donkey to speak to a prophet, God can use a PWD .

I believe that God is raising me up to be a voice in the wilderness

After decades of being unsuccessful in a career that was not suitable for me, my promised land was to become a Christian author. 

The descendants of Abraham were promised a land filled with milk and honey. However they were not able to enter the promised land because of their lack of faith. As a result they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.

I have been wandering in the wilderness for between 10 to 11 years since starting to write in October 2010.

It is not God's plan for me to wander in the wilderness. It was because I lacked faith to believe I should change career and a lack of confidence that I can succeed as a writer.

In His mercy, He is raising me one step to be a voice in the wilderness.

There is not much people in the wilderness to hear what I have to say.

I have to be faithful and do speak or write even if it reaches a small number of people and can only earn a little.

If I am faithful God will either bring people into the wilderness where they can find help or He will move me to a more populated area.

As it says in the above song, God will raise me up to more than I can be.
