The Sea Beast is a animated movie that was released on June this year. It's a Movie about Humans and Sea beasts/Monsters being at war with each other. Sea Beasts/Monsters are hunted down by "Hunters" who sail out on a Ship and defeat the Monsters.
One of the top hunters ship is called Inevitable and the captain of the ship is "Captain Crow". And Captain Crow is obsessed to kill the biggest Sea Beast called "The Red Bluster".
But in turn of events a small girl named "Maisie" sneaks into a Hunters ship and later is discovered but Captain Crow allows her to stay onboard. Captain Crow is old and has chosen as the next successor of the Ship.
Soon after they encounter the Red bluster, Maisie and Jacob Holland gets eaten by the sea beast. So seeing this Captain Crow gets more pissed and wants the revenge on the sea beast even more. But were they really eaten? Nope.
The red Bluster takes Maisie and Jacob Holland to a Island that is filled with Sea Beast. Maisie soon discovers that the Sea beasts are very friendly and caring creatures. And even names the Red Bluster - "RED" So all that war being the Beasts and Humans was just a misunderstanding. But who created this misunderstanding?
It was created by monarch of the country they lived in. In the end, Captain Crow takes Red down but doesn't kill him and takes him to the Monarch but Maisie and Jacob free Red and the Maisie reveals to the whole Country about the evil plot of Monarch and proves that all Sea beast are friendly and harmless.

My Honest review - It's a great movie, the animation, characters are great but the story of the Movie is kinda similar to "How to Train your Dragon" (Which is one of my Fav cartoon movies btw).
So what are the Similarities?
- In both movies there is a war between Humans and Beasts.(In how to train your Dragon the Beasts are Dragons and in The sea Beast its Sea monsters.)
- In both movies a Kid discovers that the beasts are friendly and the war between them is meaningless.
- In both movies at the end people become friends with the Beasts.
I think they could have come up with a slightly different story.
