Polycarp (2015)

Based on the Bible and the history of Christianity. Polycarp was a disciple of the Apostle John. This has the mission of carrying the word of God. However, at that time Caesar Augustus, the Roman emperor, wanted to proclaim himself as a superior being, making people worship him.

These were difficult times for Christians, who had to carry the word of our Lord, worshiping a single God. Therefore, the price they paid was the outburst of their life on this earthly plane.

In this film we can see other characters that make an emphasis and an important part within the film, using symbolism to carry a message.

Just like the character of a girl named Ana. She receives a necklace. This necklace at the end of the movie is given to another girl, telling her about Jesus. More than an accessory for a woman, it symbolizes Christianity, and how the word of God was transmitted from person to person.

In the same way we can observe, thanks to an analysis, how everything in our world has been through sacrifice. What makes us think that despite the current technologies that are presented, we still need a lot to evolve. Because we continue to annihilate our own species, through selfish wars and conflicts. Which hurt a large number of people.

Emphasizing in this way that the barbaric thought continues in these times. So faith gives us a word of love and reconciliation. So that peace enters our hearts.

Fireproof (2008)

This film takes us to the present time, as well as one of the things that is most observed today: divorce.

However, this does not stop there, in this story, the marriage of a firefighter hangs by a thread. So his parents give him a series of activities that he must do in 40 days.

Although at first everything seems to be against it, the love of God and that of a constituted family can be more than everything that stands between them.

The test takes more than 40 days. And it is at the end of this movie where we can breathe when we see that all his effort was worth it. Because there is a reconciliation. In addition to a quite remarkable change in the two characters.
