Storyline
A family vacation on Long Island is interrupted by two strangers bearing news of a blackout. As the threat grows, both families must decide how best to survive the potential crisis, all while grappling with their own place in this collapsing world.
Over review
This film about the apocalypse, directed by Sam Esmail and adapted from Rumaan Alam’s novel, leaves little room for imagination.
The haunting cleverness of Rumaan Alam’s novel “Leave the World Behind” — published in 2020, when every novel about the apocalypse felt uncannily prophetic — comes in what it doesn’t say. For the whole book, you’re expecting to find out what’s caused the catastrophe that is just beginning to reach the main characters, New Yorkers who just happen to be vacationing out in the sticks when things start going wrong. And then, tensions stretched to the breaking point, the book thwarts all expectations, leaving behind a feeling of lingering unease.

In my opinion Terrible movie. I heard how ridiculous the movie was and the terrible ending still somehow surprised me. There are times when I wonder if creators like to see how bad they can make a movie, as some sick perversion to waste people's time. With that being said:
I honestly believe this movie deserves ZERO STARS. Julia Robert's was the only believable character in this movie. Horrible movie. If I could leave zero stars I would. I would say the Obama’s should stick to politics but unfortunately I can’t say that either. Regardless, this review sums it up very well: Zero stars needs to be an option. One reviewer posted an excellent review of this movie, so I had
This is full of thrilling, horror and suspension. That's why I recommend to watch this movie and share your opinion.

There is very little that I can add to the reviews on here, that have explained what is so wonderful about The Godfather so well. I have seen many amazing movies, as well as some clunkers, but The Godfather was beyond amazing.
