Two disgraced cops, Terry and Allen, are assigned a task to investigate a case involving a shady capitalist. They must put aside their differences and turn into the officers they idolise.Love the chemistry between Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in this movie. The way the two actors play off each other so well and the movie is all the better for it.
The supporting cast is also extremely funny: Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes, Rob Riggle and Damon Wayans Jr. all have great comedic moments. Even the smaller bit parts with The Rock, Sam L Jackson and Derek Jeter also are extremely funny. This truly is an underrated comedy and one of my personal favorite Will Ferrell movies.
There is only one scene where I thought that part should have been removed, when the characters jump from a tall building - that was just plain stupid and not funny.
Overall, I would recommend if u want some moving movie with fun characters and cracked up comedies with nice song choices to listen and have just the entertainment not much of a thinking go for it 😉
