The movie is about a son's love for his father who is often away due to work. This love for his father and family creates conflict between the father and son.
The movie contains many many violent scenes and can be a bit misogynistic so is not recommended for kids below 18 or women who gets offended easily
Ranvijay (played by Ranbir Kapoor) is overly obsessed with his father Balbir Singh and is willing to do anything for the love of him and his family . This love for his father and family makes him violent at a very young age and it becomes the reason for the diffence between him and his father and he sends him to boarding school . He comes back after years on his fathers 60th birthday where he went to a friends sister engagement who was his childhood crush , he talks and impresses her and she breaks the engagement and chooses Ranvijay over her fiance and they get married, in between this he gets into fight with his brother in law and due to the with his father too , after the fight he moves to the US and settles there . 6 years later his father was shot and badly hurt hearing this he comes back , he gets suspicious that it was done by his brother in law and with the help of his connections taps his phone and gets to know that it was really his brother in law who did it , he with his cousins kills him . Then he gets to know that behind all of this is his grandfather's brother's grandkid Abrar , he does his best and finally finds him and kills him , there's a lot of action and killing in between this and also the story of Bhabhi 2 Zoya (played by Tripti Dimri who has taken over the intenet right now and became the new national crush )
The best of the movie came in the post credits scenes where we can see Abrar's brother (the Butcher from Istanbul) who went through plastic surgary to become a look alike of Ranvijay , the brutality shown in the post credit scene was bone chilling
Animal 2 is going to have ever more action , killing and blood
Not the best review probably but watching movie would be really worth it
Also almost 30 min of the movie was cut by the censor board and will be released in OTT , can't imagine what that 30 min would be like
