Although this year I have decided to opt out of Christmas I still wish everyone who celebrates it a happy time and wonderful holidays.
Cats and ChristmasWe always used to have proper glass baubles and the cats, especially when they were little, always used to play with the shiny baubles, and at least one got shattered. That was a part of Christmas, and last year without cats no bauble got shattered and I really missed something.
Also we used to have a big nativity scene created in wide huge windowsill, with moss, a stable made from bark and all natural materials and every day after reading the days chapter of "The Christmas Mystery" my son would move the figures of Mary and Joseph on the donkey a bit nearer to the stable..... one year a feral cat decided to adopt us - or rather the nativity scene and started lying down in there right in the middle. The moss must have felt cosy to her. She was shy and would not let us touch her, and our cats were quite upset about here being there, but she had decided it was her new home and that was it.
Have a good time everyone.
