The Bucket List- A good movie to watch

The Bucket List is a 2007 American buddy adventure comedy-drama film directed and produced by Rob Reiner, written by Justin Zackham, and starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.

Corporate billionaire Edward Cole and working class mechanic Carter Chambers are worlds apart. At a crossroads in their lives, they share a hospital room and discover they have two things in common: a desire to spend the time they have left doing everything they ever wanted to do and an unrealized need to come to terms with who they are. Together they embark on the road trip of a lifetime, becoming friends along the way and learning to live life to the fullest, with insight and humor. 

I have seen the movie several times over the years and each time I watch it, the movie reminds me of the beauty of life and what I should do to make it worthwhile. It relays the message that family and friends are, at the end, more worthwhile than all the money in the world.

Folks, we need to grateful for every day we wake up and make sure we are living the life we want. So let us live our lives in joy and bring joy to other people's lives. As Carter said in the movie, “You measure yourself by the people who measure themselves by you.”
