Hello, I am 🦋. Before I grew up and could fly around as a 🦋, I crawled around as a 🐛

I joined BBS 3 months ago and have been crawling and flying all over BBS visiting many BBS boards.

Today, 🦋 is reporting back to Crypto Villa and is making my first post 📋 here in over a month.

🦋 has been visiting Crypto Villa everyday to collect the visiting bonus, read a few post, and buy a cheap 📋 to earn the bonus of making a purchase and then fly off to other BBS boards.

This 📋 is to help those who are new to BBS and is trying to find the appropriate community to be in.

The best place to be in depends on what you are and what you want to do in BBS.

In a 📋 that 🦋 had made in Crypto Villa, 🦋 referred to ourselves as fishes 🐟🐠🐬🐡🦈🐳 looking for a right sized fish tank

There is no fish tank that is the best for everyone. The best fish tank for you depends on what type of fish you are or how big you are. 🐠🐟🦈🐬🐡🐳A small fish in a big and crowded fish tank will get knocked about or may be eaten by other fishes.A large fish in a small tank does not have enough room to swim. Its growth will be stunted.If you are a 🐳 no fish tank is right for you as you need to be in an ocean.I am a member of 3 channels that focus on cryptos - a large (L) one, a mid size (M) one, and a small (S) one.Posts on L is generally higher than on M or S. The price of popular posts that gets the most impressions (earns the most advertising revenue) rises quickly on the bigger channels. If you are small you will not be able to afford to buy the popular posts unless you happen to see them within a short time of their posting. Even if you get to buy them, you will not remain as their owner long because someone will soon buy the post from you.If you are a content providerWho makes post, it is good if it get bought many times and its price rise quickly. Part of each sale goes to you. This is especially so for those who are big 🐳🦈 or who are well known and have a lot of followers. The down side of being in a large channel is that posts gets buried by many newer posts. This is especially so if you are small. Even though L is a bigger market with a lot of potential buyers, my posts there gets crowded out and unnoticed. The price of my posts there rise by less than those posted on smaller channels.If you are a big fish, L tanks is where you should be in.If you 🐠🐟 are small, you can go to L tanks to get information from the many posts there. But if you want to earn from posts you make then L tanks are not the best for you.As a content provider, I find that the best size tank for me is M. A mid size channel like Crypto Village gives a good balance between having a sufficient market and being unnoticeable.

So as mentioned in the above post it depends on both your size and what you want to do.

If all you want to do is read, the small fish tank will not have enough of 📋📋

A big tank will have a lot of 📋📋 but some of them may be irrelevant.

A mid sized tank where the admins weed out junk posts is a good balance.

If you are a content provider who make posts, the small tank has a limited market for your post because they have so few members to read, comment, and buy your 📋📋.

On the other hand, if you are a small 🐠🐟 you may find that you cannot compete against the big 🐳🦈 in a big tank.

The 👬👫 in the big tank favour the 📋📋 of the big 🐳🦈 and so your 📋📋 do not do very well
A mid sized tank like Crypto Villa gives a good balance of the various advantages and disadvantages.

Having said the above, 🦋 must add 2 more points:

1 ) if you keep making fantastic 💥📋 with good contents you will succeed because you will gain recognition.

Recognition can also be gained by making 👍📝 comments on the 📋 of other 👫👬

So do both. Make 👍📝 and 👍📋. Comment and post.

This is how 🐛 managed to become 🦋. You can also become a 🦋 if you keep trying.

2 ) 🦋 is still making 📋 and 📝 in small BBS because 🦋 believe in the long term prospects of the small BBS boards and want them to grow.
