Here is an article in the BBS help section that explains how to earn crypto cash on the platform. The TLDR:

    https://bbs.market/METABBS/posts/TgxZmEasUnyt5pWxRXMo

    Who can earn on BBS?
Earnings are shared between BBS board owners (page owners), post creators (content creators - whose posts may be purchased by >), and post owners (the current active owner - who could be the creator or a buyer who purchased the post).

Note that you must reach a cashable balance of $20 and get whitelisted before you can cash out - more info on whitelisting is here.

    How does content generate earnings?
"Boards generate revenue from advertising in the form of BBS tokens, either from external advertisers or from the BBS Network Engagement Mining Program."

What is Engagement Mining on BBS?
"...a process in which 50% of the total BBS token supply is distributed over time to the different approved BBSes in the network through ad revenue.

For example: If a BBS has 10% of the total impressions of the entire BBS network, they will receive 10% of the total daily distribution of BBS tokens generated by the engagement mining program."

    How are earnings distributed?
"When BBS tokens are deposited to a BBS, the royalty distribution engine handles the following distribution:
    - 5% is distributed to the BBS operator
    - 5% is distributed to the BBS DAO as staking rewards
    - 20% (default) is distributed to the BBS owner
    - 70% (default) is distributed to the BBS cashier"

    What is Community Currency (CC)?
"Each BBS has its own unique Community Currency, or CC. 1 CC is pegged to 1 USD. ... CC is used for purchasing NFTs" (= posts).

"Users generate CC through creating and curating content, as well as through engagement bonuses. Only CC earned from ad revenue is ‘cashable’ - meaning it can be cashed-out as BBS tokens. Cash outs are subject to the System Fee (the share given to the BBS owner, operator, and software providers)." (More info on cashing out is here.)

Ad revenue for post publishers (post creators)
"Every post created on the BBS Network is given a banner space. Advertisers, and the engagement mining program, can bid to lease the banner space on specific boards throughout the BBS Network.

Post publishers receive 50% of the ad revenue generated by posts, paid into their cashable CC balance. Publishers also receive a share of the profits every time their post is purchased." (more info on purchasing posts is here)

    Ad revenue for post owners
Posts can belong to its creator - or once a post has sold, the buyer becomes the new owner (for more details on purchasing posts see here).

"While a post is owned, 50% of the ad revenue generated from the post’s banner will be paid into the owner’s cashable CC balance."

What are Community Currency Bonus Rewards?
    - They are "granted to BBS members to allow them to engage with the ecosystem without depositing funds."
    - They can be used to "purchase post NFTs and thereby earn a share of the post's ad revenue.
    - CC’s cannot be cashed out and are not included in the "cashable balance".
    - Bonus Rewards include "Join Bonus" for joining a BBS ($2 CC), "Visiting Bonus" once per day for visiting a BBS ($1.0 CC), "Purchasing Bonus" once per day for the first post purchased ($1 CC), "Referral Bonus" for new members joining, coming from the referrer profile page or post ($1 CC), and "Reaction Bonus" for "every 5 Likes on a published post/comment" ($0.5 CC).

    What is comment tipping?
This is a new feature (March 2022) which enables the community to reward thoughtful comments. The tip button as well as current tips are displayed underneath a comment.

"Tips earned are not cashable, but can be used to tip others or purchase posts."

For more information on this feature, see BBS Update 3.2.2 here.

    What is the Cashable Balance?
"Unlike the main balance, the cashable balance is only increased from impressions generated on owned or published posts."

For more information on cashing out, i.e. withdrawing your cashable balance, see here.
