If you haven't watched the Part - 1, please Click Here to check it out. So here goes - Activity tab has seen some changes Ad, buy feature were removed and instead you will see features or sections like - - ALL - Promote - Bonus - Tip - Views Will make a In-depth post about it later. Change in AD Campaign design Details such as Name of members who has advertised and Advertising amount is no longer visible. But the details can be seen by clicking on the ⓘ symbol in the top - right corner of an ad. The Extra features given to the Partnered Members (Previously Whitelisted) With this update only "Partnered members" will be able to earn revenues from their publications. Here is the list of extra features that a members get when they are partnered on a BBS Board - - Earn revenues by publishing posts. After the launch of 4.0.1, only "Partnered" members will be able to earn by publishing posts. And not only that, they receive 100% of 50$ CPM. The revenue income earned by a Non-Partnered Member will go to the Board owner. . - Cash out 90% of their Earnings. Now that the System fee is reduced to only 10%, the partnered members will be able to keep 90% of their earnings while cashing out. (The 10% system fees goes to the operator and BBS network DAO) . - See cashable of other members by visiting their profiles. P.S - BBS tokens of other members are no longer shown to us. . - Access the Revenues and Advertising tabs Partnered members have the access to Revenues tab and Advertising tab, these tabs are shown in the profile of a member. In revenue tab you will be able to see info of revenues earned by yourself/member by visiting your profile or a members profile on a board and in Advertising tab you will able to edit, create your ad banner etc. Please note that as Non-Partnered members can't see these tabs, they can't create and run Ad campaigns. Non-Partnered members don't are not given any of the above privileges!! Members are expected to make Quality/Original/On-Topic posts and engage in other members posts in order to get the Partnership status in a board. 🔴Overview Version 4.0.1🔴(Part -1)

Version 4.0.1 has released with many changes. And I see that many members still hasn't noticed it. So let's see what these changes are. "Reputation" and "Promote" Feature. Everyone must be Aware of Reputations and Promote Feature by now. If you have some doubt please visit my previous post and hopefully it will clarify your doubts. Lets see those changes now 😉 - So when a member Promotes a post this message pops up - Meaning - You will get extra 10% bonus reputation if someone else promotes after you. . -  The profile pic of the Promoter is shown next to reputation and the name is shown below it. Before the update the name was seen at top of the post. . - Now instead of "Owned" posts and Previously owned" posts, we can see that it's "Promoted" and "Previously promoted" It's a section in a members profile, were history of Promoted posts and Previously promoted posts can be seen. . - Post Promotion and Rewards page. Even though promoting a post doesn't generate any income it's still important that members promote genuine posts as, the promotions are calculated and it helps increase the score of a BBS board. We still get Bonus Reputations for Daily Visit and For promoting first post in a BBS Board but No longer get Notifications for it. - Tips on Comments and Posts. Through tipping feature we can Tip Reputations to Posts and Comments. Previously we were able to tip 0.1 CC, 0.5 CC and 1 CC. How to Earn Reputation and Give Reputation.😉

Purchasing posts is now "Promoting posts" And "Reputation" is the New "Community Currency". Promoting a post doesn't get you cashable like before but it earns you "Reputation" for the views the posts receives. For instance - "If you have promoted a post for 11 Reputation and the post doesn't get 11 views or more, your 11 Reputation is wasted(you will not get it back). But if you get more than 11 Reputations, you will not only get you reputations back, plus you will earn more Reputations." How to earn More Reputations? - Publish Quality posts which is relevant to the Topic of Board you are posting in. And when members will promote your post, you will earn Reputation. - Promote Quality posts which you think will create High engagement and High Views, the higher the views the more Reputation you'll earn. And it's not always about Earning. There is a time when you give out as well. - You can give Reputations well deserved Posts and Comments by tipping them. P.S The transfer button was removed, so we can't transfer Reputations.4y

Let's show support and give Tips to Original and Self-written posts.

The New post Tipping Feature is great. After the new update we are able to give Tips to posts. This is just great. Now we can encourage publishers by Tipping good quality posts.  Imagine getting Tips on your post from  Eyal , Nocontrol, Mods etc because they like your content. Wouldn't it be great? This will definitely Encourage and Motivate you to do better.  Also many times we want to buy a Well written post but don't and the CC to buy it to Support/ Appreciate the publisher. But now with the Post tipping feature we can simply show Support/Appreciation by Tipping them. As you can see that the price of post is too high so I can't afford it But I'm able to give some tips and appreciate the post.  Isn't it great that now we are able to give tips to well deserving Publisher. 🔴Overview of Update 3.3.2 🔴

Today BBS released a new update which is Update 3.3.2  In this update we have got 2 New Features. Yes you read it right, 2 New Features. The first one was already announced in the official post of Metabbs i.e, - 1. Post tipping. It is now possible to tip a publisher. And the publisher of a post will receive a notification when someone tips them. 2. The Share Feature. Now we can share any posts to "select" Social media platforms. We don't receive notifications when someone shares our post. I'm loving the updates that the BBS team are releasing so far. What about you? Hi Banterfam,  As we all know that Whitelisting was reopened on Banter BBS Community nearly 2 weeks ago. The Whitelisting post was made by k_bloemen and the post was pinned on the Banter community.  Today the post was un-pinned and the link to the post was added in the about section. Hi BanterFam, Hope you are all doing great 😊 So, after taking a Break of 6-7 days I'm back on BBS. I have a lot catching up to do. I really believe that I have missed some amazing posts. Here is how you upload Videos.

This small tutorial is to help indigital. So to add a video to a post you have to simply click on Add video feature and select the Video you want to upload in your posts. The video should upload 100%. Please keep in mind that when the Size of a Video is huge, it doesn't plays and a blank black screen is displayed. Step by step Tutorial on How to transfer BBS Board Ownership.

Since the Update 3.3.0 came live, BBS owners will now be able to transfer ownership of their board to any other BBS member of His or Her choosing. Why would a BBS Board Owner want to transfer the Ownership? Well, it could be for Multiple reasons like - The owner is too busy in personal life, wants to retire from BBS, Sees someone who can handle the Board better etc. So now Lets start the Transfer Procedure. - Click on 3 dotted Menu (The Owner will find this in the Right side of the Home page.) - Click on the Transfer Ownership option. - Now type in the Username to whom you would like to transfer. Please note that a message will be shown which tells - Make sure to enter the correct account, as ownership is not reversible. - How to Type the Username? As you can see in the example below, You have to simply type in the name without adding the "@" tag and the Username with their Profile picture will be displayed. - Select the Username  Once you select the Username a note will be displayed - Transferring ownership can take up to 3 minutes to fully execute.  -   Once you Click on - Confirm. The following message will pop -up After 3 mins or so the Owner will receive this Notification. And Finally the Transfer is completed! How to know the Transfer is complete? In the About section the Name of the Owner's name will get Changed From previous Owner.. And the name of New Owner will be displayed. P.S - The New Owner can still Transfer the Ownership back to the previous Owner. Hello Banter Fam, As we all know, BBS price is falling down from few days. And the exchange rate we are getting is 1 BBS = $0.1 Now we have to understand that when the price of BBS token is down we get higher Conversion Rates.  Today we are getting the Highest rate, which is 1:10.3. This means we get 10 BBS tokens for every $1 Cashables. When we include the 30% System fee we get 7 BBS tokens, which is still very good Deal. 🔴Short Overview of Update 3.3.0🔴

Yesterday the BBS Version 3.3.0 was released. You can click HERE to see the Official post made by Metabbs on the Update. Now let's get started. This update came out with lot of new Features. Let's see some of the features and changes that came with this Update. - The Cross domain Functionality. Before this Update was introduced, the BBS members had to create multiple accounts accross different domains and use the accounts separately to login. But now we can simply merge the accounts and use it in all domains. (I will be making a Tutorial that will explain how to merge accounts between different domains etc. Later today or tomorrow.) - Mute tagging feature We are now able to Mute comment notifications from users in any BBS boards. To do this simply visit the Users profile and click on the 3 dotted Menu Now you will be able to Click on Mute tagging option and also Block DM as well. - Transfer of BBS board Ownership With this update the Owner of a BBS board can now transfer the Ownership to any User/Member of his or her's choosing. (I will be making a Tutorial that will explain how to transfer Ownership of a BBS board Later today or by tomorrow.) The Next feature is comment Gifs and Markdown syntax formatting. Well for Banter Community this isn't new  as BBS User Thenewlegend had already made a post About Markdown Syntax and PakaluPapito had make tutorial post adding gifs to comments fee weeks ago. (P.S Click on their usernames, it's a hyper link to their Original posts.) And also a full detailed explanation is given in the Official 3.3.0 update post. A small change to noticed in this update is that the colour of the Cash Revenue is no longer displayed in Green rather it is now displayed In Black colour.
