Hey BANTER!

The recent patch notes are out and we've some solid changes!

It doesn't say it directly, but the Cashier mechanics are explained here. The cashier allocations are set within the 90% designated fee. This means that the ad revenue flow is a bit different.

The Ad Revenue flows 50/50 to Owner/Publisher and further splits are allocated via the Cashout mechanic. Meaning the Cashier/Board/Devs get their cut when you get through the Cashier Queue and BBS tokens get deposited to your account.

"the fee will be reduced gradually toward 30%, reflecting the 10% royalties to the BBS operator/software + 20% royalties to the BBS owner"

We can see within this statement that they plan to allocate these via the Cashout mechanic, instead of having it split the revenue BEFORE sending it. This means that Owners and Publishers of NFT's will receive 100% of the ad revenue, and Dev/BBS Operator don't get their cut until the BBS tokens are deposited.

TL;DR: Cashier Balance is the reason why it's taking 90% right now, in order to fulfill the backlog of the Cashier Queue. Future changes will tune this towards 30% fee to support system balance.

JUST DON'T CASHOUT UNTIL THE FEE IS REDUCED!

You are getting 100% of Ad Revenue to your cashout balance, so as long as you don't withdraw yet you won't have to deal with the 90% fee.

If anyone has questions about these changes I'd be happy to help dig through notes!
