📌 Italy waves green flag for Binance

Things are going in pretty well direction ffor Binanace these days. A month back they received permits from Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Dubai. Then a couple of weeks ago, they received the clean chit to start its operations in France where they previously signaled about builiding their European Headquarters.

Well, the world's largest crypto exchange in term of trading volume has now announced its arrival in Italy too, as its legal unit in Italy has got themselves registered with the country’s regulator. Binance joins the list of 13 other crypto exchanges which are now registered with the OAM (Organismo Agenti e Mediatori), which oversees crypto operators in Italy.

Binance believes that their arrival in Italy will increase the exchange’s accountability and decrease the likelihood of money laundering. Announcing the news, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao stated

“Clear and effective regulation is important for mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies … We thank the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the OAM for their efforts in underscoring and controlling the necessary requirements to operate in Italy in full transparency.”
