Well as promised I am back with update regarding latest development in case of biggest heist ever in the history of crypto world.

US Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) after sanctioning three north korean based crypto wallets has announced sanction on crypto mixing service, Blender.io. As announced by treasury dept. this is the first time a crypto mixer is sanctioned as they believe that hackers associated with North Korea's infamous Lazarus Group transferred around $20.5 million worth of money from hacked accounts through the Blender.io service as part of a cryptocurrency laundering scheme

"Today, for the first time ever, Treasury is sanctioning a virtual currency mixer, Virtual currency mixers that assist illicit transactions pose a threat to U.S. national security interests. We are taking action against illicit financial activity by the DPRK and will not allow state-sponsored thievery and its money-laundering enablers to go unanswered." said Brian E. Nelson, undersecretary of the treasury for terrorism and financial intelligence, in a press release Friday.
