bbs.marketLess strict board rules AND more info about board partnersHello Banter Fam!Now that “The Great Reset” is changing completely the earning model on BBS, the Admin and the Moderator team think that the time has come to change some rules on this board.What will change?Most rules will stay the same but some very strict rules we can let go now. Why? Read further and you will find out.Posts/comments which we still don’t allow and which we continue to hide:❌ Off topic posts (not Crypto or Banter or BBS related)❌ Copied articles/tweets/… without source (incl. when you “rewrite” the post). You
cannot pretend you have written something by yourself when that is not the case.❌ NFT/ART posts❌ Advertising❌ Offensive posts, scams, harassment, adult content and other content not allowed by the BBS platform.Why do we change this?We don’t need to be so strict anymore for users who are not a partner since they cannot earn through the platform anymore. If you want to post a simple link to a video or tweet, you can do so as from now on. But if
this is the only type of posts you make, you cannot expect to be asked to be a partner
of the board either. It’s up to you to decide if becoming a partner of the board is a goal for you or not.We want to try out this set of less strict rules for a couple of weeks to see where it brings us. We count on everyone’s responsibility to keep the quality of the board at a high level.How will the board choose “partners”?Partners of the board can earn the full advertising revenue of posts they make. In later phases of “The Great Reset” also an earning model through comments will be introduced.
The board owner needs to be able to trust fully the partners of the board since they will be the one who earn money from the board. They are the partners who should make the board be better every day.Here are some characteristics of partners of the board. You don’t have to tick all boxes, but
at least some to be chosen:✅ Your posts are mainly self-written (meaning minimum 50% of each post is self written) ✅ If you start from an article, you of course mention the source. You post the link
rather than copying all text. You make sure you add your opinion or similar in that case. ✅ You make the community laugh with your original, self-made memes ✅ You truly interact in your comments by giving your opinion, starting a conversation, going into a discussion, making a joke, … ✅ You make a variety of posts (e.g. different types or about different topics) and are active on the board for at least a month. ✅ You promote high quality posts instead of promoting every single post you encounter. ✅ You encourage and help new members to make high quality postsIf you recognize yourself in quite some
characteristics mentioned above, you have a high chance to be invited as a partner.
If you don’t, and you want to become a partner, you know where to start.When will the board choose partners?This will be a continuous process. Only a very
selected number of people was chosen until now, we intend to increase that number slowly but steadily. Please give us the time to adapt to this new situation as well.After phase 5, when we know how also quality commentors can share in the revenue of the board, we can select “quality commentors” as well to become a partner. After all, not everyone wants to be a publisher.We hope that this post has brought some clarity.
