We are almost to the end of the year of 2022. 

Last week was our last Weekly Chat meeting from this year. It was the 44th edition and we are very proud that we have been there every Sunday for anyone who was interested to discuss BBS. 

From new members, moderators, board admins to even the BBS team members, mostly the BBS’s CEO Eyal Hertzog, we all have joined this Chat and try to contribute as much as we could to improve the development and success  of BBS. 

Last edition was a very exciting one, as we remembered how BBS was one year ago and how many changes we have faced.

Most of us who joined in the chat have been here for one year or almost one year. This was an entire journey since we joined. 

✅For example Crypto Rasta created the SATIVA community one year ago and last week they  celebrated the first anniversary. We hope to celebrate the 10th anniversary and many more. Keep up SATIVA 💪

✅ Also, one year ago, the largest community of BBS, Crypto Banter, joined as well . They also celebrated their first anniversary in November. Congratulations and all the best. 

Unfortunately, Banter has lost its momentum once new communities have been formed and the biggest update of BBS -Great Reset - was done. 

 But the owner, No Control, is determined to make  a stronger and better comeback. It looks like the app has motivated him to be back in business. . We haven’t seen too much activity because they are still struggling to decide the real topic. 

If anyone has any suggestion , DM to No Control or even share it here in the comments section. 

In the meantime have been  created more and more communities with a specific topic and very successful ones like:

✅ MWATALK - the first movie board- was created in March 2022 and became one of the most popular ones lately. This is the second movie  board as we have the METV who was created months after MWATALK. 

✅Then we saw the first sports board created in May 2022 , SportX community. This was created for all  the sports lovers and became the number one sport board on BBS. 

✅ Of course how can we forget the first big community in the BBS Star Wars community.

 A community which joined in March 2021 and who has a very close topic- talk about Star Wars movies. We have met some of the board admins and they are wonderful people who kept that community alive and protected by the big wave of Banter Community. ( When Banter community joined, many scam members and post ravaged the board, but the admins managed to keep it clean in the end. Nice work guys.)

🙃Look around BBS and you will find other great and exciting communities like INDFAM, DEGENBAR, VILLA, GAMETECH, CHARTS, UUNET, BBSMATES, READBBS, COVID etc. - all with a specific topic. 

Just check most of them and find your place to discuss the topic you are most interested in. 

BBS is a place to discuss free and make your community about anything you want ( remember not about anything porno or gambling).

15.Version 3.3.2 - BBS Post Tipping!- I thought that this one was after the Great Reset ( this time you could tip with cashable balance- before the reputation was introduced).

16.Version 3.3.3 - Search Feature!- one of the most suggested and expected update on BBS was introduced on the 23th of March 2022. 

17.Version 3.3.4 - Community Currency Icons, Tag Limit Update, and Impression Timer!- with this update it was introduced the tag per one person per comment ( before you could tag maxim 5 members in the same comment) and the impressions timer ( this refers to the fact that a person should stay enough time in a post - means read and comment if necessary- in order to generate one impression. There have been to many fake impressions by just opening the post for a sec or less and generate 1 impression) 

18.Version 3.3.5 - Reporting Page & Second DAO Proposal - the report feature for a comment, a member, a post or a community was introduced and in the same time  the second DAO proposal who  ''aims to deposit $30,000 worth of BBS tokens into Bancor's External Impermanent Loss contract, which provides protection for liquidity providers from impermanent loss.''

19.Version 3.3.6 - Multiple Pinned Posts & Comment Searching - this is a version became helpful for managing a community by the admin team. 

20.Version 4.0.0 - The Great Reset (Announcement!) - JUNE 28 was the big change when most of the members have left BBS - mainly the fraudulent accounts or the scammers. 

21. Version 4.0.1 - Phase 2 & 3 - this is all about next step after the Great Reset : Terminology redesign, Purchase - Promote redesign part 1, Impression & distribution update, UI separation, Notification removed from daily visit bonus (bonus still applies), Base ($5) CPM removed from non-approved boards

22.Partnering 101- the new concept after whitelisting. It took us a while to understand what this mean🙈 

23.Version 4.0.2 - Phase 4 - Post Promotion & Reputation- the next phase after the Great Reset. There will be 5, but still waiting for the 5th.

This was a short description of what happened in the year 2022 on BBS , but in the same time Eyal has made a new and exciting road map for 2023 

🔴 SDK apps that mainly will include:

- the video debate

- the premium content subscriptions - subscribe and pay a tax to have access to some quality content

- cash tipping for posts and for live videos - this is one of the most exciting one in my point of view because all the members , no matter if they are partnered or not will get the chance to be rewarded for the quality of their content

🔴 Social capital - this is an option for members with more social media accounts to access them direct from BBS if they will connect them to BBS - will help to better control the fraudulent accounts and be used for the engagement rewards. 

🔴Republishing - this will allow to the members to republish content from a board to another board ( remember to add the personal touch)  and share the revenue equal between the 2 boards. 

🔴 Private boards - there will be a possibility to make a private board and the members who want to join to fill in an application for the admin  to be accepted and approved as a member to have  access to the content of that board. 

🔴 App launch - there is not yest a date for this, but things are moving in the background. The team works literally day and night to fix all the bugs and release the idea version. 

In this Weekly Chat edition Eyal appeared with a successful and  controversial business man who is going to make his own community on BBS. 

I can't give a name , but if Eyal wishes, he can write in the comments section and share with everybody. 

We are all welcoming him and the community on BBS and give our support if he needs it. 

We are also waiting for this community name to start following it. 

Good luck and hopefully BBS will grow up. 

As I and other members from BBS observed, many members partnered or not are leaving us messages in case they have problems home, go to holiday, have exams or be a while away from BBS - this is a nice gesture, but not a necessary one.

Regarding this READ : 

- you are not working for BBS - you are not a community employees , but members. We are all equal when is about how much we spend or not on BBS

- any missing of couple of days or week son BBS will not affect your partnership or stop  becoming a member. Your good content and meaningful interaction is what it keeps your profile partnered or in the loop to be a possible partner. 

- we are all humans and have  a real life - BBS is just our hobby and that's all. Don't make it a work place. There is not such a thing.
