Sunday 26 February was another great talk about BBS. 

It was interesting to remember its utility and what problems can be resolved, but also to talk about the new road map shared last week. 

We are happy to have many members participating in front with board owners, moderators and of course the BBS CEO Eyal Hertzog. 

  1.Ensure freedom of expression, collaboration and liberty trough open database technology

Bbs was created as a fully decentralized and censorship resistant message bulletin board inspired by Reddit's  content.

Its nature of being censorship resistant is determined by the fact that all BBS users , content and wallets can always be recovered and never be deleted. 

Bbs is allowing the information to be accessed on  the blockchain by everyone and it will never be deleted. 

Any post, comment, editing, reaction are registered permanently and even if the board owners or moderators will hide any post or comment, they will be visible on a blockchain ensuring transparency and censorship free. 

  2. BBS is giving   powering the content creators and their community of followers giving them the possibility to earn for their content and contribution automatically within the ecosystem. 

Right now BBS becomes a true Web3 social media platform where anyone from anywhere can make a community about any topic in a decentralized way  and run it as it wishes on their domain controlling the revenue sharing between members and content policies. 

The road map is shared for 4 quarters. 

1Q PLAN

 The plan for the first quarter is almost accomplished : we had the engagement mining updated, the  app, the anonymous participation and the Video/audio responses. 

We have witnessed the update about the engagement mining and the release of the app. 

2 things that everyone got used to by now. 

🔸 The anonymus participationWhat was more exciting to this quarter is the anonymous participation who can give the liberty to the free speech by commenting or posting as anonymous. 

The anonymous option comes as a solution to the people who do not want to make  a profile on BBS or the ones who want to be more direct in commenting and replying to posts. 

We have talked about its benefits and one of them is that anyone is more free to say what he/she thinks without being connected with a profile. There will be more real and truthful opinions. 

Another helpful thing is that this gives the possibility to the people to get to know BBS before becoming a member.  Everyone has a choice :   experiencing BBS without making a profile. 

This can be considered as a privilege or a unique thing because there is no social media who gives you the chance to post and comment without having a profile. 

Of course the anonymous participation in conversation or posting will be under the approval of the board admin and moderators. They have the power over a post publication or  comment to approve or decline it. 

🔸Video Audio responses - I think this is the opponent of the anonymous option. 

Whyle with anonymous participation you choose to keep your identity hidden , with video/audio response you choose to be you , to share with the people your identity. 

This will make any content more interesting and the interaction at its maximum. 

Q2 PLAN

For the 2nd quarter it is planned the cash tipping, social capital bonuses and social capital profile. 

🔸🔸Cash tipping / Super Comments with real money in BBS is one of the most expected solutions to reward comments and posts. 

As we know, not all the people are partnered and earn from each post, but once we have this option the board owners will have  a ‘’Tipping Pool’’ for tipping board users for their genuine discussion / Super Comments or content. 

On the other hand this might generate fraud from some members. That's why the board owners have to work closely with the fraud team to prevent such fraudulent behavior. 

We are waiting impatiently to see this implemented. 

🔸🔸Social capital -Bonuses and Social Capital -Profile

It is a feature to give the members the possibility to connect directly from BBS to their other social media accounts.

This will help to validate the members trust and prevent fraud over the network. 

It is an involuntary check of KYC ( Know Your Customer). 

Regarding the KYC on BBS we have discussed that this should be done in a safe and organic way.

The most safe way to KYC in Eyal’s opinion and after serious discussions with some of the team members is to validate for each other. 

One member can validate another member if they know each other in real life, something that can hardly be fake. 

A good example was :  if you lose all your ID  documents the only way to prove that you are is if your friends and family can validate your identity. 

We agreed that is one of the best solution to KYC the members and we are on board with it. 

Q3 PLAN 

🔸🔸🔸Premium subscription : will be a demo for the SDK and anyone will be allowed to open a premium subscription and provide premium content where only the subscribers will have access. 

How this will work? 

It is running under the 3rd part SDK  content format. Payment method - credit card. To have access for subscribe you need to be  a member. There will be fees collected  and converted into BBS - All the money will come directly to your bank account minus some fee that is sent to the provider of the billing service.

The provider of the service is selected by the domain owner and will have an agreement over the fee.

The price of the community will be settled by each community. 

Will this give utility for BBS token ?

The whole utility of subscription will be to bring many more users to BBS  - is more as a promotion of BBS.

🔸🔸🔸Share upgrade 

This will be  a better upgrade to sharing function in order to spread the word about BBS , but also to  be able to count the number of shares made ( on social media) by the community admin. The community admin will see which user has shared more or less. Track click per click. 

Q4 PLAN🔸🔸🔸🔸Migration mining

The team is more interested  about how many  installs has the app than about how many members have joined joining . There are 2 reasons: 

This can be in the future an upgrade of the engagement mining. 

Maybe sharing a weekly summary of the data on Metabbs will be done in order to see  who is driving more app installations. This will  be linked to each community. 

❗️Least, but not last every community owners are encouraged to grow up their community on any social media, especially on Twitter.  And they are encouraged to use the hashtag about the topics that are in trend on Twitter. 

For example , SATIVA's  board owner has used Rhianna's hashtag when it was in trend at Super Bowl and he gained some good traffic🤣.
