My favorite place to see whales 🐋

It is a protected area called "El doradillo", a few km from Puerto Madryn. The southern right whales come every winter to give birth to their young here and can be seen until around October.

In this area when the tide is high you can see them a few meters from the shore totally free 🤯

Clearly, it is much better to do the sighting on board, since a much closer experience is achieved and the whales are very curious and usually come to interact with the boats 🥰

I did it when I was a kid and it was unforgettable, now it is really expensive for us due to the devaluation of our currency but for foreign tourists they have very affordable prices 😉
