Jahandad, Mehran help Stallions to book Markhors for 231
Jahandad Khan and Mehran Mumtaz’s bowling prowess helped Stallions to bundle Markhors for 231 in the fourth match of the Champions One-Day Cup here at Iqbal Stadium on Sunday.Markhors opted to bat first after winning the toss, however, they failed to get the desired start as they found themselves struggling at 38-3 in 8.3 overs.
IN MY OPINION: I think the bowling performance of Jahandad Khan and Mehran Mumtaz was crucial in restricting Markhors to 231 runs in the Champions One-Day Cup match. Despite a shaky start for Markhors, Captain Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha's partnership provided some stability, but the timely dismissals by Mumtaz and Khan disrupted their momentum. Agha's fifty and the partnerships were commendable, but the bowling duo's effectiveness was pivotal in Stallions' success in bundling Markhors for 231....
