Former Pakistan captain advises Babar Azam to focus on performance
I think Younis Khan's advice to Babar Azam is incredibly valuable and insightful. Focusing on performance as the core aspect of his role as a captain can help Babar excel both individually and as a leader. By emphasizing the importance of delivering on the field rather than solely relying on the captaincy title, Babar can channel his energy into honing his skills and achieving consistent success. I believe that looking at Virat Kohli's example highlights the significance of prioritizing performance over leadership roles for sustained excellence. With Babar's talent and potential, he has a real opportunity to make a significant impact in cricket and even surpass milestones set by legendary players like Younis Khan. It's a reminder that dedication to one's craft and continuous improvement ultimately define a player's legacy more than any title or position.
