In a current cricket World Cup match, Virat Kohli scored seventy six runs off fifty nine balls, along with six fours and two sixes. His overall performance helped India set a total of 176/7 towards South Africa. However, South African batsman Heinrich Klaasen responded with a short half-century, placing his group in a sturdy role to win their first-ever World Cup. Despite this, India's bowlers grew to become the game round within the final overs, securing an unexpected victory for India.

Cricket analyst Sanjay Manjrekar shared his views at the suit while speakme to ESPN Cricinfo. He criticized Kohli's innings, saying it positioned India in a hard state of affairs because it left certainly one of their great hitters, Hardik Pandya, with simplest balls to face. Manjrekar believed that even though India's typical batting turned into accurate, Kohli's slow scoring price of 128 in keeping with a hundred balls nearly value them the game. He argued that the notable overall performance of the Indian bowlers inside the very last overs was what genuinely saved the match for India.

Manjrekar went on to mention that a bowler should have been named the Player of the Match in place of Kohli. He felt that the bowlers deserved the recognition due to the fact they have been those who turned the game around whilst South Africa had a ninety percent threat of triumphing. In his opinion, the bowlers' efforts in snatching victory from the jaws of defeat have been extra large than Kohli's innings.

I think whilst Kohli's innings may also have been slower than ideal, his runs were critical in setting a aggressive goal for South Africa. It's important to don't forget that every contribution counts in a crew game. However, I agree that the bowlers performed a pivotal position in the victory and their efforts in the ultimate tiers have been certainly heroic. Recognizing their overall performance as Player of the Match might have highlighted the significance of their contribution to the win.
