ICC Men ODI World Cup 2023 will begin from October 5 in India and fans are quite excited about it .The inaugural match promises a clash of titans  pitting the defending champions, England against the 2019 ODI World Cup runners-up, New Zealand.Cricket enthusiasts worldwide eagerly await this thrilling tournament to begin as it sets the stage for what promises to be more then a month-long spectacle of top-tier cricketing action.As the excitement for the World Cup continues, numerous veteran cricketers, pundits, and experts have begun sharing their predictions and naming their favourite teams to clinch the coveted World Cup trophy.

Former Sri Lankan player Kumar Sangakkara has also opened up on the upcoming multi-nation tournament and named his top two favourites to win the trophy.

First of all I'm quite excited about the world cup as you all know that Asia Cup has finally ended and congratulations to the India for having a beautiful victory indeed it was and their destiny and Pakistan was out of the Asia Cup and it was a piece of cake for India to and if it the Sri Lanka part the real challenge is away and that is the world cup which is the biggest event of the Year 2023.

Talking about the teams I personally think that World Cup is kind of unpredictable tournament because you never know that towards going to happen in the future and their many teams which I could less that like Pakistan, India, England ,New Zealand and Australia. These are the 5 teams which are having the most chances of winning the world cup and short-Listing the two teams is kind of difficult situation but as per the Sri Lankan legend  cricketer , Kumar sangakkara says that he is going to choose the two teams and that's India and the England.

I partially agree over this opinion because India has been an amazing form and that's the home ground benefit as well because you all know that World Cup is being hosted in India and when you are at your home ground and the kind of confidence is at a different levels in the player has different passion and energy and that's what you need a when you are on the field.

He is right about his prediction but I can say that there are also the chances for the Australia and Pakistan is unpredictable but the chances are quiet less because main fast bowlers of the Pakistan are injured and let's see how this on folds.
