Former Pakistan pacer Junaid Khan has criticised India's bowling following their defeat in the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.The home side prevailed over India with a 2-0 victory, marking their first series win against India since 1997.Throughout the series, Indian batters struggled against the Sri Lankan spinners and were dismissed in all three matches. Additionally, India's bowlers lacked effectiveness and failed to take wickets consistently.

Junaid believes that India's bowling attack is overly reliant on Jasprit Bumrah.“Would you agree? Without Bumrah, India’s bowling is zero… #INDvSL #SLVSIND,” he wrote on X.

Jasprit Bumrah has been granted an extended break to manage his workload after India's successful ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign.After the conclusion of the final match, Rohit Sharma was asked during the presentation ceremony whether India had been slightly complacent in their approach. After all, they had won the T20 World Cup just over a month ago and had faced a fragile Sri Lankan side in the T20I series.

Rohit did not seem to take the question kindly, and sought to dismiss such thoughts instantly. "No, it's a joke. When you're playing for India, there's no complacency. We have to give credit where credit is due, Sri Lanka played better than us," he said. "We looked at the conditions, wanted to take pace off the ball, and that's why we went with our combination.

"All in all we didn't play good cricket through the series, and that is why we stand here. Throughout there were a few positives too. How the spinners bowled, some of the batters in the middle as well. We lost the series, and I feel there are a lot of areas we need to look at rather than the positives."The Men in Blue will be in action in Test cricket next, when they take on Bangladesh in a 2-match home series in Chennai and Kanpur.

This is Quite a controversial statement while praising Jasprit Bumrah and criticizing Indian bowling at the same time. We all know that Jasprit Bumrah is a key bowler in the Indian team and without him ,they really suffer a lot. But we recently saw in the last T20 world cup when they beat South Africa and it was about a loss for India but what He did in 02 last overs, it was just unbelievable.He is the king of death overs and we often see him really doing unbelievable things.

The commentators often say that if you are having 4 hours at the end, just exclude the two of  bumrah as he is not going to make you hit anywhere and if you try to you will pay for it just like taking Mohammad Rizwan example ,when he tried to hit boomrah ,he was just clean bold so batsman mostly avoid hitting him and also he takes good wickets and  be a game changer. he has a unique bowling style and often both separation the game and leads to the winning team of India.

It's a bit relaxation game against the Sri Lanka as India has won the world cup in main players or out of the team that's why I just like a practicing ,giving you chance to the players to test some new potential and always happens we have seen many incidents like that after major world cup or something like that many teams of their low level players  to test that and the mostly lose but it doesn't actually matters as they won the t20 world cup and what it actually matters .

Rohit Sharma's played  his 9th world cup and it was his dream as he has just full filled that so not disappointment and its just an ordinary match and matching the need to  think about it and send some good players as testing out is also good but sending some top quality key players is also you knee can I think next time they may at some new players is basically testing face to your chance to the players have to prove it and can actually come in the team that call you ,will arrange really the team and that's why we need players .

Many good players in the Indian team will retire soon and that's why they need new talent, so testing new players is definitely an initiative that needs be promoted and having matches against the teams suggest Sri Lanka definitely  a golden chance of them.
