Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan's T20I crew, is on the verge of breaking a few full-size statistics in the imminent series in opposition to Ireland beginning on May 10. He is tied with Brian Masaba from Uganda for the maximum T20I wins as captain, with both having 44 wins. One greater win would make Babar the most successful T20I captain ever. Babar has additionally captained in seventy six T20I suits, similar to Aaron Finch of Australia. After main Pakistan in the upcoming collection, Babar will maintain the record for the most T20Is as captain.

On the batting side, Babar is close to turning into the primary Pakistani participant to reach 4000 runs in T20I cricket. He currently has 3823 runs and needs 177 more to reach this milestone. He is eyeing the series in opposition to Ireland to bridge this gap and pursuits to outshine Virat Kohli from India, who currently leads the charts.

Breaking records in both captaincy and batting is no small feat, and it reflects his skills and determination to the sport.
