MCG to host one-off Australia-England match to celebrate 150 years of Test cricket

Australia will host arch-rivals England in a one-off match at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in March 2027 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Test cricket.
The birth of Test cricket took place at the same location in March 1877, with Australia and England facing off in an epic battle. The hosts emerged victorious by a 45-run margin.

I think the upcoming 150th anniversary Test match between Australia and England at the MCG in March 2027 is going to be a truly historic and momentous occasion in the world of cricket. It's incredible to see how this iconic rivalry has stood the test of time, with matches like the inaugural Test in 1877 and the Centenary Test in 1977 etching themselves into cricketing lore. I believe this upcoming match will not only be a celebration of the rich history of Test cricket but also a testament to the enduring spirit of competition and sportsmanship between these two cricketing giants.
