My superheroine, Tiffany Poon

Dennel63 asked whether she could use the hero of a normal movie to enter the contest in METV  💥New Contest: NAME YOUR HERO💥🦸‍♂️ Chassp replied that the hero can be from a normal movie. What about the hero from a web series on You Tube? I am an ardent fan of Tiffany Poon. She is such a big hero to me that I have a channel in a BBS board that is a Tiffany Fan Club. Yes  - I actually started a Fan Club for Tiffany. If being the hero of a You Tube channel qualifies for entry as a superhero, then this post is nominating her is my superheroine. If not then this post is me talking about the actress in a You Tube series. Who is Tiffany Poon?  She is the face between classical music and music lovers. Music is not a flawless recording or concert. She brings the human element into music, letting us see behind the scenes and to relate with people behind the musical product. She is on Patreon and has several You Tube channels. In her main You Tube channel, she posts videos of her practicing, getting ready for concerts, Q&A and of course of actual pieces performed by her. She has a channel that features her fans and other musicians.  She also has a channel for charities. Besides using that  channel, she also live stream concerts (sometimes in collaboration with other musicians) where donations and/or ticket sales are used for charities, medical workers, other musicians. She is one of the 3 girls who greatly affected my life.(can you guess who the other 2 are?) Her motto "keep striving" encourages me to not give up but to keep striving. Not to remain a 🐛but become a 🦋 and to keep flying. I am so blessed that my hero is not an imaginary hero but is a real person that has had a real impact on my life. Besides helping and encouraging me, she has blessed so many people. She is so generous, kind, and really care for others. Caring is not lip service, but through real action and work to raise so much money. Sometimes working around the clock with just short breaks in between. Tiffany is such a superhero to me that I started a fan club for her in BBS  I hope that one day, I can meet up with her in person. My Favourite Superhero

My superhero is Superman. Those who have been reading  my posts since the early days of Meta Engagers will know a fair bit of my background and that I like to post ❤️ stories. Superman stories are not just about super exploits and heroic deeds. They include stories of his relationships with school mate Lana Lang and with Lois Lane. His relationships with the 2 has their ups and downs and he has had to struggle with his own feelings. Like in those ❤️ stories that I posted where the protagonists suffered heartbreaks but had much joy. Such stories remind me of myself. How I struggled. My favourite superhero is not actually Superman but his alter-ego, Clark Kent. Yes, I did imagine my self as superman. As someone who is small sized and have some disabilities, I was clumsy and gets bullied. Being strong, quick and able to fly was part of my fantasy world to which I could escape. That was just a fantasy world that I could run to escape from real life. Deep down within myself I know that I am the opposite of superman. Instead of being the hero and someone that others praised and respected, I was the weakling that was condemn and looked down on. Thus superman was not someone that I could really identify with. I want to be like him but know that I cannot be like him. Clark Kent was someone that I could identify myself with. Clark wearing glasses, sometimes clumsy and gets pushed around. I was someone with  not just a super but a supermega inferiority complex and afraid of trying to be friends with girls. So the trouble the boy superman had in his schooldays and as Clark Kent are what I can relate to. In comic #662, Secrets Of The Night, the relationship between Clark and Lois did have a happy ending but not without twist and turns . After many ups and downs in earlier episodes their relationship had developed into love. Clark was in Lois apartment and he wanted to disclose his identity to Lois and propose to her.  Banshee broke into the apartment  to attack Clark that Banshee by scent knows is Superman. Lois would be injured if a fierce battle had taken place there and also the apartment would have been destroyed. So Clark had to leave the apartment and lead Banshee away. Banshee defeated superman  and Superman would have been killed if not for the Crone who helped him. After the battle, Superman returned to Lois's apartment for a happy ending. My relationship with the 👩‍⚕️K was not a smooth one. We had our ups and downs but we did eventually get married and have a happy ending. Like in the ❤️ stories I like to tell and like in the story of my hero Clark Kent and Lois Lane. 👏👏👏👏👏 Let's have some engagement  Do you like superman? Why do you like him? If your favourite hero is someone else, why do you prefer that hero to superman? Do you imagine that you are your hero? Do you identify yourself with your hero? My Tribute to Olivia Newton John

Olivia Newton John died on 8 Aug 2022 at the age of 73 She was first diagnosed with  cancer 30 years ago in 1992. Olivia was born in Cambridge, England in September 1948 but moved to Australia in 1954 when her father took up the post of Professor in German in Australia. He had worked as a spy during world war 2 She started singing in clubs and coffee cafes and was encouraged to enter a talent contest. She won. Her break came in 1971 when she turned Bob Dylan' s song "If not for you" into a hit. She was a well loved singer who won 4 Grammy awards and 7 American #1 hit awards. She had a voice that was smooth and sweet. Most of her songs are of sweet pop or soft rock genres and in later years became country. Perhaps she will be best remember for her role in the  1978 movie,Grease. That movie was the best grossing  (highest revenue) musical for 3 decades. She starred as the sweet Australian girl Sandy  who attended an American high school. Sandy was hopelessly devoted to  Danny played by John Travolta. She started in that movie a sweet girl-next-door type. That changed as she wore skin tight spandax pants and became a dancing queen with Danny. That movie had 3 hit songs sung by Olivia, including "Hopelessly devoted to you" and "Summer Nights" and had dancing that will be long remembered.  The clothes they wore became a fashion craze of tight pants. Linda Ronstadt and Marie Osmond were also considered for the role of Sandy. Olivia almost turned down that role because at the age of 29 she was concerned about playing the role of a teenager. She insisted on a screen test to confirm that she could do the task before she accepted the role. The fact that the 29 year old Olivia can act as a 18 years old teenager proves how good looking and youthful looking she was. A 1981 album named "Physical" was also somewhat a departure of her sweet innocent girl image. It was not actually refering to sexual activity but physical exercise in an era of a gym craze. However the tight gym clothes she wore as she performed exercises sparked accusations of showing sexiness. This was at a time when society was much more prudish. The current songs and movies are much more sexual than what Olivia did in "Physical" Olivia loves animals and has a ranch in California, USA. This ranch is where she was in when she died. The video at the end of this post includes the ranch. Olivia is a philanthropist and she has a foundation that supports charities and medical research, the Olivia Newton John Foundation. She always support and encourage the staff at the Olivia Newton John Cancer, Wellness and Research CentreShe was also an animal welfare campaigner. Her philanthropy and, contribution to medical research and animal welfare campaigning were recognised by Queen Elizabeth of UK who awarded her with damehood (equivalent to knighthood) in 2020. Many famous artistes like Cliff Richard, John Travolta, Kylie Minogue, Dionne Warwick and Australia's Prime minister Anthony Albanese have come out to pay tribute to Dame Olivia. She is survived by her husband since 2008, John Easterling and her daughter Chloe Lattanzi. Her family has requested that donations be made to the Olivia Newton John Foundation instead of sending flowers. Wedding of Jared & Marrianne

This video of the marriage between Jared  and Marianne is on topic for METV because they are an  actors who got married to an actress. Marianne Tan is more famous than Jared and 🦋 has posted in Meta Engagers or METV several short movies where Marrianne is the female lead. For example - Miss Perfect  - When We  Were  - The Rose The wedding vow made by Jared and Marianne is not the typical marriage vows. As a celebrity couple they came out with their own unique marriage vows. The vows are touching and had the both of them sniffing and wiping away tears. The vows are also humourous. For example, Marianne vowed to kill cockroaches and thus exposing Jared's fear of cockroaches. One would not have expected that the brave spouse who have to protect the other spouse from cockroaches is the wife. 😜🤣🦋 What do you think of their wedding especially their marriage vow/speaches to each other?4y

When We Were - A video about a couple who fought against cancer

JinnyBoy TV is a production house who make videos to be posted on You Tube. Marianne Tan features regularly in their videos. She played the role of Natalie  in a video entitled "Miss Perfect" that 🦋 posted previously in Meta Engagers. That was a video 🦋 not just enjoyed but could identify with. Like Michael in that video, 🦋 initially did not think of 🦋's Miss Perfect as someone 🦋 would like to marry. Initially just treated 👩‍⚕️K as a friend (that is not categorised as a girl or a boy). Perhaps you can even say that 🦋 treated 👩‍⚕️K as just a sister or a boy friend (instead of a girl friend as 🦋 was someone who was shy and scared of girls - if I had looked at 👩‍⚕️K as a girl, I would be scared of being friends with her) Natalie is supposed to be unattractive and a bit weird but 🦋 find her to be sweet looking. In the movie "When We Were"  Marianne played the role of a cancer victim named Emily. On the day that Emily was supposed to have the pre-wedding photoshoot, she  was informing friends and relatives that the wedding is cancelled. What do you think of the character of Jake? Initially, 🦋 was disappointed that the wedding was cancelled and thought that Jake should have been more supportive of Emily.  If you were in their situation would you have cancelled the wedding or bring forward the date so that you can have more time as married couple? So 🦋 was disappointed to hear Jake talk about considering life together after Emily gets better. Emily will all the more need Jake's support if her condition deteriorated instead of getting better. 🦋 was pleasantly surprised by the scene in which Jake removed his cap after trying to convince Emily of his support. Instead of telling you why 🦋 like that scene, watch the video yourself and comment about that scene. What do you think of the behaviour of Jake agreeing to do Emily's hair even though the saloon was supposed to be closed? Do you agree that his behaviour then is in line with the type of person he is shown by what he said after removing his cap? If you have faced cancer either personally or in people who are close to you, please share you stories.  What do you think about Marianne Tan as an actress? Julie Andrews and The Sound Of Music

When🦋 was a child, Julie Andrews was a famous actress. She was the star in movies like The Sound Of Music, Marry Poppins, and My Fair Lady.  All the 3 movies are musicals and contain many songs that are legends in the history of movies. In The Sound Of Music, she plays the role of the governess to the children of a widower, Captain Von Trapp.  The Captain was a strict disciplinarian who used a whistle to call and control his children. Using different notes on the whistle for names of the children and to get them to march and jump into formation in a set order. Although the captain can sing well, music was not allowed in his family. Julie Andrews was a trainee nun in an Abby. She was too high spirited to fit in well as a nun and so the nuns at the Abby were relieved to see her leave to be a governess. Maria was to high spirited and refused to use the whistle and secretly taught the children music and to sing. Just we learn to read by learning ABC's, Maria had to teach the children the basics of music, the Do Re Mi' s. The 8 notes in the Do Re Mi's or the Sounds of Music is the name of Movie and the famous song Doe A Deer, a female deer. Here is some interesting information about that movie. It is based on a real life musically talented family living in Austria. When Hitler came into power in Germany, the Austrian family was summoned to perform in Germany. Responding to the summons will mean being drawn into the Nazi movement that they do not agree to. Refusing to obey the summons will mean being persecuted by the Nazis. So the Von Trapp family had to flee Austria to Allied territory.  In the movie they performed a concert where all the elites of Austrian society and the top brass of the German army in Austria attended. While the guests were enthralled with the concert and still hazy over the superb performance, the Von Trap family fled Austria. During the filming of The Sound of Music, Julie Andrews sometimes sang songs from a film that has not been released yet, Marry Poppins, to the children. The children who were full of respect for Julie Andrews thought that she was a genius who could invent songs to sing. Karolina Protsenko on Kelly Clarkson show

This is an episode of Kelly Clarkson show that will tug your heart strings. Karolina Protsenko is a 13 year old violinists who busk on the streets of Santa Monica. She uploads videos of her busking in public places on YouTube .Her You Tube videos has received over 2 billion views and has led to her being interviewed and asked to perform on the Kelly Clarkson show on TV. What makes Karolina special is that she does not play the violin in a staid and sombre way that serious classical violinists normally plays. She learned ballet so that she can dance when playing the violin. The dancing movement makes playing well extremely difficult. Karolina's desire to dance while playing is based on her fascination over a prodigy violinist, Lindsay Stirling. Lindsay is a highly respected violinist whose playing technique is admired by professional violinists. What makes her unique from the other professionals is that she dances while playing. The fame and respect that Lindsay has allows her to come out with her own brand of violins! Lindsay is Karolina's idol. Karolina was very excited about being interviewed and performing one of Lindsay's songs on Kelly Clarkson show. During the interview she mentioned a Lindsay concert she attended when she was 8 years old. She mentioned how disappointed she was about not being allowed to present a card she had made for her idol. Kelly said that she knows someone who could pass the card Karolina made to Lindsay. Kelly than called that person to come on to the show. See for yourself the shock and delight of Karolina when her idol walked in. Karolina was able to not just meet and talk to her idol but hug her. Lindsay also presented Karolina with the gift of a Lindsay violin. The icing on the cake was Lindsay performing together with Karolina when it was time to play.4y

My Favourite Hollywood Movie

My favourite Hollywood movie is a 1990 blockbuster. It held the #1 top movie for 12 weeks in a row starting in November. Even after it lost its #1 spot, it remained in the top 10 for 6 months until April 1991. It held the #1 spot over the Christmas season in 1990 which is so appropriate as the movie is about a family who went to overseas to Paris on a holiday for Christmas. Because of this connection with Christmas, the movies shown during Christmas season for many years included this movie or on of its sequels. Talking a sequels, the movie is so successful that it did not have 1 or 2 sequels but there is a total of 6 movies! There is also 3 games that are based on the movie.  Another feature of the movie is the location where it was filmed. Although the family was supposedly to have gone to Paris for vacation, the filming was done entirely in the state of Chicago and most of it in a particular house. The owner of the house made a fortune because that house became a tourist  attraction and it was eventually sold for $1.5 million. Lego also made a set of Lego that is based on that house. Ha ha. I have kept you in suspense and have not disclosed the name of the movie yet. I will try to keep the suspense but some of you may already be able to guess the name of the movie. One of the reasons I like the movie is that I can relate to the hero of the movie who is a child by the name of Kevin. Kevin was looked down on or bullied by his siblings. Kevin  felt that he was not the favourite child and that his parents unfairly punish him. One of the scenes in the movie reminds me of my post,"Why I like Apricot Jam" . My post was based on a time when I was punished by being made to stay alone in a room. In the scene in the movie, Kevin was punished by being  seperated from the rest of the family and had to stay in a room by himself. I can identify with how he felt what he said about not wanting to see his family again. What he said came true the next morning because in their rush,the other family members forgot about Kevin who was staying by himself. As a result, Kevin was left a home alone when the rest of the family left for their family vacation. I am an imaginative person like Kevin and can come out with crazy ideas. Kevin came out with ideas on what  to do and handle the situation he was in. I like the witty things he said and replies he made to questions whether by those with evil intent or not. For example "being an outsider" is the reason why the person cannot be given a clear cut answer on whether Kevin was Home Alone. I can imagine myself being Kevin. Being able to identify with Kevin is what makes this my favourite movie. Laughter is also a spirit lifter and makes me feel better. 🦋4y

Hint: He  is the b....r 5) A ⭐wars hero who does odd jobs 6) He thinks about future events and prepares for then right from the start but sometimes the get nothing for his efforts 7) He can float around quietly and shoot at people from afar 8) A flying animal that has something like an injection. 9) A domestic animal that likes coins. 10) Another ⭐wars hero that has  instrument to lift heavy objects like big stones. 11) His job is to make people laugh and he is often found in circuses. 12) A large town that has little 👬👫 and has  🏠🏡 that are not occupied. 13) He eats leaves until he is full then goes to hide. 14) A coin that like ⚽ and a certain EPL club. 15) A doctor that likes to study charts. 16) He likes stories that make 👫👬 do what 🚼 do when they need 🍼 17) He is spoken of in tales and stories but he is not old. 18)  A male 🐂🐃 that makes announcements. 19) A papa that makes posts that makes you go round and round. 20) The one everyone listens to even though he is a nice guy - he is the boss. 21) This is a BBS user that 🦋 is envious (not in a negative or jealous way - but 🦋 is happy for him and would be delighted if 🦋 can be like him) This person leads an active life ski, rafting , mountain climbing, trekking, and has a house with a huge compound that is like a farm with animals and crops. Just like what 🦋 want to have if 🦋 won a prize like that mentioned in  Please Help To Identify The Above  Persons.4y

Funny scenes in "Miss Perfect"

When Michael was a young boy his mother told him to find a girl that is like the beautiful actress in a movie they were watching. Michael came up with a list of requirements for his future "Miss Perfect" Michael was disappointed that he was paired up with Natalie for an assignment in journalism class. Natalie does not fit Michael's idea of  Miss Perfect. Natalie exchanged  phone numbers with Michael so that they could call each other regarding the assignment. The name that Michael registered on his phone for Natalie is "TURNOFF" The producers of the video tried to make Natalie look like a nerdy looking girl whom Michael would consider as a Turnoff. However in 🦋 opinion, Natalie is sweet looking in a cute way. Perhaps this is deliberate as the producers wanted to portray Natalie"s sweet personality. One of the scenes 🦋 like is the expression on Michael's face as he looked at Natalie explaining some weird pictures in her picture book. An expression that shows that he is thinking "What a weird looking girl with weird  ideas" Their assignment for journalism  class is to take memorable photographs that tell a story.  They went to a place where the wall was a montage painted with pictures. One of the pictures was a urinal like what is in male toilets. Natalie pretended to be a boy standing in front of the urinal to urinate. Michael took a photo of Natalie doing that and Natalie turned and chased Michael. The "replay' of the above scenes near the end of the video is more detailed and funny than what was shown earlier. One day Michael left his phone somewhere and asked  Natalie to call it. After making the call, Natalie remembered where the phone is and went to take it  for Michael. At that time, the 2 of them had developed feelings for one another. Natalie was 💔 heart broken when she saw that the name Michael used for her was TURNOFF. This story is one that 🦋 can relate to. 🦋 was so shy and insecure that 🦋 do not dare to try to be friends with girls. Not having any girl friends 🦋 dreamed of what he would like his Miss Perfect to be like. 🦋 became friends with a girl because 🦋 did not consider her a girl that 🦋 wanted to be friends with. 🦋 treated her as a younger sister in Christ that 🦋 was  guiding in Christian beliefs. 🦋 felt comfortable talking with her and told her about 🦋's hopes for a Miss Perfect. 🦋 did not realize at that time that although the friend did not fit the picture of Miss Perfect, 🦋 had feelings for her that is called ❤️. Miss Perfect must have been hurt by what 🦋 told her4y

🦋 A political🐓 story.

This 🐓 story is about what the Prime Minister of Singapore mentioned during an official visit to JapanThe funny thing is that the 🐓he was talking about has nothing to with Japan but was because of Malaysia. Malaysia consist of West Malaysia  and 2 states Sabah and Sarawak which made up East Malaysia. Singapore together with the states in West Malaysia made up a country known as Malaya. The leaders of the state of Singapore did not agree with discriminatory policies that favoured the Malays.  Singapore decided to break away from the other states of Malaya to become an independent country Singapore. The other states joined with Sabah and Sarawak to become Malaysia. Malaysia is a resource rich country with oil, tin and a lot of land cultivated with rubber, oil palm and other crops. Singapore is a small country with no natural resources other than its people and its strategic position on the trade route between Eastern countries like Japan & China and Western countries eg those in Europe. For several years the parity between the Singapore $ and the Malaysian currency was 1:1 In spite of having  no natural resources, Singapore did much better economically than Malaysia and the current exchange rate of the 2 currencies is S$1 : RM4.2 Since Singapore does not have much land, much of the food that Singapore consumes come from Malaysia. 34% of the 🐓 consumed in Singapore comes from Malaysia. Recently Malaysia stopped exporting 🐓to Singapore. The decision to stop exporting 🐓 to Singapore is not because of political differences or jealousy about the superior economic success of Singapore. Increase in the cost of animal feed has caused the price of pork to increase.The government of Malaysia do not care about the big increase in price of pork because the majority race do not eat pork on religious reasons.So pork eaters had to eat more 🐓 which is much cheaper than pork causing the demand of 🐓 in Malaysia to go up. 🐓 is a very important part of the diet of the majority race so there is price control for 🐓. 🐓 producers in Malaysia were incurring losses because of higher costs. Supply chain problems has caused a huge increase in the price of 🐓 feed. The minimum wage in Malaysia was raised by 25% from RM1,200 per month to RM1,500 per month. If you are a 🐓 producer in Malaysia, what would you do? Will you increase the production of 🐓 to meet the higher demand?  Or will you reduce the production of 🐓 in order to reduce your losses because the selling price of 🐓 is capped? Malaysia itself had a shortage of 🐓 and could not export any to Singapore. What did the Prime Minister of Singapore allude to when he said that this time it is 🐓 but next time it could be something  else or bigger? The supply chain problem of 🐓 is because of mismanagement. What if due to mismanagement of water resources Malaysia cannot provide water to Singapore? Singapore is such a small country that it does not have the catchment area to collect enough rain water for its needs. 🐓 is something 👬👫 can live without. Water is a necessity of life. What has Singapore done regarding water? Besides the desalination of sea water, Singapore treats sewer water so thoroughly that it can be drunk. The Prime Minister of Singapore has publicly drunk bottled sewer water that Singapore produces to prove that it is safe to drink such water.4y

🦋 posted a YouTube video of the song by the Beatles in both Metabbs and Banters. The write up that 🦋 made in Metabbs is very different from that in Banters. 🦋 did point up certain "issues" in Metabbs but the write up is a constructive one that can be considered as praising Metabbs and yet encouraging further improvement. In a post that 🦋 made today, it is mentioned that the admin of a BBS trying to build his BBS has to understand human behaviour and what motivates 👫👬 to do what they do. The admin and the mods have to get 👬👫 to join the BBS, make posts and comments, engage with one another, take part in competitions and other activities etc. The admins and mods at Meta Engagers know much more than 🦋 what needs to be done and how to do it. Bravo to the superb team in Meta Engagers. Some of the ordinary members of Meta Engagers may be struggling with a small BBS like 🦋. Perhaps some members are thinking of starting a BBS. This post is meant for those like 🦋 or those who are thinking of starting a BBS.If the leadership team of Meta Engagers can help to educate us by commenting to add information to this post, that would be fantastic. The basic human need is for food, 🍞🍗🍎🥚drinks,🍮🥤🍺 🚍, clothes 🎽👕🩳👖and shelter 🏡🏬. In order to fulfill these needs we need 💵. So one of the main reason 👫👬 join BBS is to earn 💵.So we must help them to earn💵. There are many things that can be done here. Giving CC as tips, rewarding posts and comments, competitions and activities to boost traffic, increasing CPM, rewarding recruiters, teaching new members to make posts and how to engage etc. Mods and admin, please add to the list. TQ.Be friendly with members and help members make friends with one another. Get them to introduce themselves, welcome them and make them feel at home 🏠 or part of a family.In BBS there are Banters, Villans, Degens etc. What are members of Meta Engagers? What family do we belong to or what should we proudly call ourselves?Why not have a competition to give ourselves a name that we are proud of? Having friends and family is a higher need than having 💵 for our basic needs of food, clothing and shelter. Another higher need is fun, entertainment and being able to enjoy ourselves. BBS communities should make it enjoyable to be there. Fun activities, challenges, games, funny posts, etc should be part and parcel of every community. All work and no play make us dull or 💤💤 👬👫who are 💤💤 are not activeTalking about activities, challenges and competitions : what form of prizes do we give?  CC, BBS tokens, pinning posts? How are winners decided : by chance or by quality of contents? The pinning of posts and choosing by quality of contents provide winners with recognition. They give the winners a sense of satisfaction which is quite high up on Maslow's hierarchy of needs. With regards to the pinning of post for 1 day, the post gets unpinned the next day. Why not have a special channel that members cannot post directly to. The admin or mods will transfer the post of winners to that channel. Having a post on that channel is an honour. Think of the tremendous satisfaction a member will feel and the recognition he receives from the community if a person can get a lot of posts into such a channel. It must be pretty high up on Maslow's hierarchy of needs  Currently we have badges for Mods and those who have been white listed. Why not come out with more badges to recognise quality. achievements, contribution to the community to honour those who merit such badges? For example we have regular competitions for posts. Different badges can be given for most number of posts and posts of high quality. The badges a member has will be displayed  next to his profile picture together with a number to show how many times he has won such a badge. The above are proposals by 🦋4y

Or why people give huge donations to charities? Or why some 👫👬 go all religious? Whether you are an employer seeking to motivate your employees, a teacher trying to get your students to learn or a BBS admin trying to build your BBS, understanding human behaviour and motivation can help you to achieve your goal. Almost anyone who has studied on managing 👬👫 will have heard of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Human needs and motivation is often represented by a pyramid. A pyramid is stable because it has a big base and rises to an apex. Only after satisfying the needs at the base will man try to satisfy needs higher up on the pyramid. For example if you do not have enough money to buy water or food, you will not try to buy or rent a luxurious house. Learning about Maslow's hierarchy of needs do not need to be a boring management subject. The crazy 🦋 who is proud of what he should be ashamed of

If you are "sacked" because of poor performance, will you be proud or ashamed? 🦋 is proud. Before 🦋 give you the details, here is some background info. Not long ago, Meta Engagers organised a competition based on making a post on what we would do if we won $1 million. There are things that 🦋 is very passionate about. So 🦋 spent a lot of time and effort writing about what 🦋 would do with the $1 million. The winner of that competition was selected by spinning wheel rather than on the content of posts. 🦋 was a bit disappointed. What is the basis of selection for this present competition about what we are proud of? No details are given. So 🦋 put effort into making a lengthy post of what  🦋 is proud of Then 🦋 make 2 short posts about  things 🦋 should be ashamed of but say that 🦋 is proud. The purpose is to have many entries so that if the winners of this competition is also decided by chance (spinning wheel) , 🦋 will have more chancesSo  the 2nd entry is based on stealing something. This 3rd entry is based on being "sacked" because 🦋 was not doing a good job. Those who were with Meta Engagers when it had less than 50 members will remember that 🦋 was the first Mod of Meta Engagers Boo the the Mod who now claim to be Mod 1. As Meta Engagers grew in size, 🦋 could not cope with the work load required. So 🦋 was sacked and replaced  with a team of capable Mods. Congratulations to the present Mods for doing a fantastic job. 🦋 especially salute Mod 1 Saying Boo to you earlier was done for fun so please don't take it to 🖤 and get angry with 🦋 So the thing that 🦋 is proud of is the distinction of being the SACKED MOD of Meta Engagers Ha ha  Now we have another label for the list of Mods of Meta Engagers Greetings from the SACKED MOD. 🦋4y

Something I did that made me feel proud

Will stealing something make you feel proud? Something I stole made me feel proud. What did I steal? Why did stealing it make me feel proud? In order to understand why stealing something made me feel proud you will have to understand my background. I was an extremely shy person who do not dare make friends with girls and so have never had any girlfriends before. Details of the extreme shyness and fears are here So what did I steal?  I stole a kiss from a girl. The kiss was stolen because the girl was not expecting to be kissed and I kissed her suddenly. Why I was proud for stealing the kiss? I finally overcame my fear of girls and was so bold as to kiss a girl. Did I get slapped by her? No. For more details of the stolen kiss, see4y

Proudest moment contest

Did something you did on BBS make you feel proud? Many 👬👫 have done great things on BBS that they can be proud of. Things which make them respected as giants or 🗻🗻 mountains in BBS. They stand tall in BBS and are well recognised in BBS The thing that I want to share on will be considered insignificant in the sight of the 🗻🗻. It is something that is so easy that they can do it in just a few days. No big deal. However to me it was a great achievement that was the culmination of more than 11 years of work. Work where I have faced discouragement along the way during that 11+ years.  I started writing a book in October 2010 and completed the draft of that book after a few months. I continued writing articles and parts of more books and dreamed of becoming an author. Some of what i wrote were posted on Facebook but I was not able to actually publish a book. While some people praised what I wrote there are also people who consider me as a lousy writer who should not try to become an author. To them , I will never succeed and the dream of successfully publishing a book will forever be just a dream. They consider me as being not good enough. Perhaps they are correct because in spite of writing for 11+ years,  I obtained zilch or zero income on what i wrote. So for 11 years i have remained as an aspiring author. Someone who aspires or want/hope to be an author with a published book that earn money. This was an aspiration that I had but was unable to achieve. In February 2022, I was white listed on BBS and was able to cash out. After more than 11 years of writing I was finally able to earn a tiny amount from writing. The value of  the BBS tokens I received is insignificant. But it is the first income from more than 11 years of writing. The criticisms that I have received over the years me feel like a 🐛 The 🐛 was elated and so happy that he was jumping up and down. Up and down because 🐛 cannot remain up in the air or fly. The 🐛 had the idea that if it became a 🦋, then he can fly. So the 🐛 who felt so proud that it earn a tiny amount of BBS tokens changed its Visual Identity in BBS to 🦋 This is why there is now a 🦋 in BBS. A 🦋 who is a member of Meta Engagers When changing VI to 🦋 the 🦋 wrote the poem contained in 🦋 hope that you will enjoy the above poem about a 🦋 that can fly and reach the sky.
