A frightened, withdrawn Philadelphia boy who communicates with spirits seeks the help of a disheartened child psychologist.

An absolute thriller

Still superb Even once you Know The Ending. This was hyped big-time when it came out and, if memory serves me, was a decent center of attention among people who saw it at the podium. I didn't see it for some years afterward, on tape and now on DVD. it had been superb but I didn't find it as "the greatest movie ever" as some did. it's an involving story, however, and i have come to understand it more with multiple viewings. I've seen it thrice, the last one searching for mistakes to disprove the surprise ending....but couldn't find any. The filmmakers covered their tracks. However, a pair of scenes were misleading. people who have seen this movie know what I'm talking about. For those that haven't, I'm not visiting spoil it here.
