Hello friends. Last night, in the middle of Halloween, I found on the internet the complete movie of the moment, which is Five Nights at Freddy's, in my native language. I will now give you my opinion of what I consider to be one of the best movie adaptations of a popular video game, in this case, a horror game (Jump Scares type) for kids. That the last mentioned is important to note and remember. Also that this adaptation is made more for loyal fans of the franchise, which I advance that it is very huge and too faithful.

The movie is about a boy who suffers from depression but, having come of age and a younger sister to take care of, alone, he has to find a job so as not to lose his custody with his little sister and have her go with his aunt. However, our protagonist does not manage to last long in the jobs where he is hired because of attitude problems and insubordination. However, he is given one last chance to become a security guard at an abandoned pizzeria.

This pizzeria has a very dark history and many secrets that will disturb our protagonist, who is obsessed with "changing the past" because as a child he had a tragedy that he cannot overcome. His past will return, his present will terrify him and his new job will change his life completely, since in this abandoned place, he will not be alone these five nights.

A movie that has become very viral on the internet as the audience is very divided between loyal fans of the franchise who liked such adaptation faithful to the original work, but also by many other critics who were not completely convinced by such work for not considering it "scary" for the current date. However, for the most part, the reviews are positive and the success it has had worldwide at the box office is quite a lot.

Honestly, I admit that I am not a fan of the franchise, but I did like the movie, considering some of the "Lore" they have taken from the games and the many references it has from those works. The special effects, CGI and performances are very well done, personally, much better than many movies nowadays. I disagree with people who say it's not horror, considering the story itself is disturbing (again, considering it's based on pure Jump's Scares video games for kids).

Personally, as a horror and gore fan who since I was a kid has seen such films as "Cannibal Holocaust", I consider this film to be okay. I repeat, it is not to say that it is a "Masterpiece", but neither that it is so bad as to give it a 6 or a 5. I give it a personal rating of 7.5/10 as far as horror and mystery is concerned.
