Also, the spectacular way of breaking the mold of the typical post-apocalyptic stories, combining them with fantasy, infinite loops, "gifts", gods and beings that live for millennia. Personally, I give it a well-deserved rating of 9/10 in the genre of fiction, comedy and action.

I will now give you my opinion of what I consider to be one of the best movie adaptations of a popular video game, in this case, a horror game (Jump Scares type) for kids. That the last mentioned is important to note and remember. Also that this adaptation is made more for loyal fans of the franchise, which I advance that it is very huge and too faithful.
The movie is about a boy who suffers from depression but, having come of age and a younger sister to take care of, alone, he has to find a job so as not to lose his custody with his little sister and have her go with his aunt. However, our protagonist does not manage to last long in the jobs where he is hired because of attitude problems and insubordination. However, he is given one last chance to become a security guard at an abandoned pizzeria.
This pizzeria has a very dark history and many secrets that will disturb our protagonist, who is obsessed with "changing the past" because as a child he had a tragedy that he cannot overcome. His past will return, his present will terrify him and his new job will change his life completely, since in this abandoned place, he will not be alone these five nights.

A movie that has become very viral on the internet as the audience is very divided between loyal fans of the franchise who liked such adaptation faithful to the original work, but also by many other critics who were not completely convinced by such work for not considering it "scary" for the current date. Honestly, I admit that I am not a fan of the franchise, but I did like the movie, considering some of the "Lore" they have taken from the games and the many references it has from those works. The special effects, CGI and performances are very well done, personally, much better than many movies nowadays. I disagree with people who say it's not horror, considering the story itself is disturbing (again, considering it's based on pure Jump's Scares video games for kids).
Personally, as a horror and gore fan who since I was a kid has seen such films as "Cannibal Holocaust", I consider this film to be okay. I repeat, it is not to say that it is a "Masterpiece", but neither that it is so bad as to give it a 6 or a 5. I give it a personal rating of 7.5/10 as far as horror and mystery is concerned.

Today I want to bring you a "main course" for lovers of horror, gore and Found Footage. I warn you that this film is NOT suitable for all audiences and has been banned in dozens of countries because of its crude and bloody scenes, as well as several legal problems at the time for seeming "so realistic" to many critics of the industry.
The film tells the story of a group of reporters and a guide who went to the Amazonas, Colombia to investigate a cannibal tribe for their report. However, after a while, they find themselves lost in the jungle. An anthropologist goes with a team to find clues as to what happened to them and, after a small encounter with one of the tribes and a couple of negotiations for the lost reporters' recording equipment, they return to the United States with videos of what happened days ago in the jungle. What they found in those recordings is both grotesque and disturbing.

The need to extend a story to such an extent for the only reason to get so much money that you can, even if it seems, completely ruins the experience it offers at the beginning. Let's say that the first film is a success and a masterpiece, which is so and confirmed it personally, which caused the diet franchise to start a huge saga. However, the way in which they extended it by adding characters that were not at the beginning, to place unnecessary turns of the script, revive a dead more than once alone for is the "main villain" of history, all this is completely unnecessary from He's going.

In this case, it is the turn of a DC Comics movie that has been very popular this year and that has reached everyone's lips due to various circumstances that we will talk about in this post/review. That's right, we're talking about "The Flash", the DC's "promise of a new cinematic multiverse" that would bring quite a few cameos and characters to the franchise, but which in the end ended up being a total failure for Warner and for DC Comics itself.
With a production and investment of more than 200 million dollars, this film, which has been postponed many times, making DC fans wait since 2019 to see this "promise" which, according to the directors and producers themselves, said that it would "revolutionize cinema and give way to the future universe and vision of the franchise", It ended up raising just over 200 million worldwide. This, evidently, was a total failure for Warner Brothers, worth more than 200 million dollars. And so "The Flash" went from "the promise" to the franchise's biggest failure to date.
The reception and criticism that the film received was, mostly, towards its horrible CGI and visual effects. There was so much criticism towards these important details of the film, which completely ruined the experience of many fans, that it ended up being canceled on social networks. Honestly, I started watching this movie hoping to become more disappointed in the DC Comics franchise itself because of the terrible job they've done. But, despite it being effectively a total disappointment in what promised to be "the birth of a new era for the DC extended universe", I still had a bit of fun watching it. Although the humor and the acting of the characters were good, for the most part, the story also has its emotional touch which tries to touch the heart of the viewer in order to empathize a little with the situation that the protagonist is going through.
But, despite being understood and comical, the large number of errors in the CGI and its special effects, in addition to its disappointing ending, was what ended up ruining my experience watching it. If in itself it was difficult to empathize with the protagonist, after everything that happened with the actor during all these years, They also brought us back to one of the best versions of Batman in film history, for what? For that he dies repeatedly at the end (Spoiler Alert). If I were one of the fans of Keaton's Batman, I would currently feel disappointed in the franchise for bringing back an old and precious memory and then ruining it with its quips and stupid script twists that do nothing to improve this horrible plot.
DC Comics' failed attempt to imitate Marvel Studios' success with the theme of cinematic multiverses cost it, this time, a loss of hundreds of millions of dollars from a movie that for years they promised that it would change the world of superhero cinema and that only brought shame and regrets. Anyway, it is evident that I do not recommend watching this movie at all, for your own good as a fan of DC and its incredible stories told in its comics. The film begins shortly after the events that occur at the end of the sixth film, with Harry and his friends setting off on a journey in search of Horcruxes. That's right, the story of this great cinematographic universe full of magic and fantastic beings is not over yet and, after everything that happened in the previous film, This next footage will illustrate a little more some of the darkest secrets that still have to be revealed about the "Dark Lord" and the protagonist himself. If you still haven't seen this movie, but you have seen the previous ones, I recommend that you watch it so you don't miss out on this masterpiece of fantasy cinema, which curiously achieved a box office success equal to that of its predecessor, with almost a billion dollars and many good reviews in its favor.
The film continues several months after the events that occurred in the fifth film, with Harry Potter interested in meeting a girl. However, the headmaster of Hogwards, Albus Dumbeldore, He appears right in front of the place where he is and takes him to go with him to look for an old friend of his to invite him to work as a teacher at the school.This, of course, with an interest in deciphering a secret that contains important information about Voldemort and the way to end his dark return. Secrets, mysteries, lies, curses, love, heartbreak, betrayal, all this and more can be enjoyed in this wonderful film.
The production, on the other hand, is second to none, with special effects and incredible CGI for the time, along with impressive scenes and shots that clearly dazzle how great this cinematic universe is. Without a doubt, this is another of my favorite movies in the franchise, which can be among the top three in the entire saga. Personally, I'll give it a 9/10 rating.

In the previous posts we have already talked about the first four films of this great saga, which many have liked a lot and it is something of praise and emotion. Now, we have to continue with the fifth installment and fourth sequel of this series of feature films based on the series of books that bear his name.
In this case, we will talk about the longest book and one of the most popular and controversial movies in the franchise. We return to see the favorite cast made up of these great actors, who play characters that will have an important development in this part, after the events of the previous film. A box office success with almost a billion dollars, this fifth installment of the saga impressed and remained in posterity as one of the best in the entire franchise.
Intro
The film begins with our friend Harry, months after the events that occurred at the end of the fourth and previous film, who continues to suffer from bullying by his cousin and his friends. One day, like any other, our charismatic magician can't stand the constant mockery and decides to confront his cousin, but instantly the weather changes completely and it starts to rain and the temperature drops. They start running, escaping from a terrifying being that we will surely remember in previous movies, the Dementors.
Two of them corner them in a tunnel, where Harry manages to force them out with his Patronus. However, his cousin has been attacked by one of them and is in very bad shape. The Committee on Magic, learning of this, decides to expel Harry from Hogwards for breaking the rules. But, Albus, the director of the school, decides to take this case to court so that this does not happen since he knows the dark intentions of the Committee after learning of the return of The Dark Lord.

While it was nice to see the return of the esteemed cast of actors who gave a spectacular sequel to this great story, It is also noteworthy to mention the enormous work that each and every one of the participants did in their respective characters, especially for Daniel, who demonstrated a version of Harry Potter very different from the one we already knew in the previous films. The way in which he allows himself to be corrupted by the dark thoughts shared with Voldemort and the series of catastrophic and demotivating events is spectacular. But, what caught my attention the most is how he gradually enters this incredible magical world, which is found between the real world and how it is corrupted and darkened by the influence of the Dark Lord.
The special effects and CGI that it has are also spectacular, thus highlighting how they contrast fantasy with reality, adding fantastic creatures and places. But what impressed me the most about this were the spectacular magical battle scenes in the film, which is literally a stage show of power and skill. Once again, the villain gets some of the attention by demonstrating his great power and influence before the protagonist and the rest of the magical world. On the other hand, Dumbledore He is not far behind and also proves to be a great character, very skilled and powerful. Personally, I can give this movie a 9/10 rating without a doubt.
We still have a couple (or three) more movies to talk about to conclude with this special. If you haven't seen it yet and it catches your attention, I invite you to watch it with pleasure, but not before watching the four previous films so you don't miss anything.

In this post, we'll take a look at the latest update to the BBS Network Reward Table, mention some changes to the Community Flairs, and give some reminders for everyone. Before we start, I want to say a few words to the current active members of METV: "Thank you all so much for still being here with us, sharing and interacting with the community". If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be where we are right now and this Board wouldn't be what it is today.
Daily Reward Table Update
Let's start by looking at the BBS Network Reward Table:
METV is currently sitting at port number 14 on the Rewards Chart, Yes, we have fallen a lot in recent months because many people have left the community. Currently, too, we have 31 from DAU, 31 from DAM, 5 Publications and 10 Comments (remember that these are recorded data from yesterday's activity). Today it can be said that we woke up "with red numbers", which is a bit sad but it is the situation in which we have been in these last weeks.
And this is worrying since we are right at the minimum numbers required to stay in the Rewards Program. This means that if our activity goes down, we will lose the income we are making now and we will have no funds to reward METV Publishers. That is why the importance that we are giving to interact, promote and share on social networks with the intention of attracting new people to the community.
New Flairs
As my "communicative" partner made the "unanimous" decision to add "New Flairs" for "better organization" of the content that is shared in the community, we have decided to remove the ones that were before and leave only four Flairs.
The following Flairs are:
- "Reviews", which will be used for movie, series or anime posts that they have seen and want to talk about in the community.
- "News Cinema", which will be used for recent news posts from the world of cinema and entertainment, such as the breakup of a certain actor or the premiere of this movie, etc.
- "Discussions", will be used to talk about issues related to the world of cinema with the intention of inviting others to give their opinion and generate discussions, such as "What do you think of the box office failure of Blue Beetle?".
- "Updates", will be a Flair only for the Moderators of the community, who will upload posts of the latest updates and changes that we will be making.
I hope you like these changes to the Community Flairs. If you have any ideas or suggestions for a new Flair that you think should be added, just leave your comment below.
Reminders
Now a few reminders for the community. Let's start by reminding you that, currently and as we have already seen in the Rewards Table, we are a total of 31 members of which only 6 (not counting Moderators) are those who share content daily. Of those 6 Publishers, only three share their posts or content on social networks, such as Twitter (X).
Also remember that we are currently rewarding Super Comments for posts that meet the following three rules:
- First, that you share original and quality content.
- Second, that it interacts and generates discussions with its content in the community.
- Third, that you share your METV content on social networks (Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.).
If you see that you have not received Super Comments on your posts recently, it is because you do not comply with one or more of these three rules. So, put a little effort into improving your content, interaction and promote more on social networks and attract new people to the community.

Let's also remember that we currently have three Partners in the METV community. These Partners are:
Doctor Strange decided to stop being a Moderator and became a Community Partner again. Let's remember that a Partner receives a small part of the rewards of the posts they publish (currently the CPM is at $5, so for every 1,000 impressions, they will receive $5 dollars). Due to this, we believe that there is no need for users to be obsessed with getting the Partner since they will not earn anything at the end of the month.The "real gains" are in the Super Comments that we are currently dishing out to quality posts and well-crafted comments.
For this reason, we ask you to focus on improving its quality, increasing your interaction and promoting yourself more on social networks. If we can get new people to join, the community will grow and we will receive more. Thus, we all win, that is why the importance of promoting and attracting new people.
If you have many contacts on WhatsApp, promote the METV community in your states and share the link of your posts there so they can see it. If you have a lot of friends or followers on Facebook, share your post there and invite people to visit it and join the community. Let's continue with this "Harry Potter Special" (excuse my attendance these last two days but I was without electricity) with the fourth film and third sequel of this wonderful saga. Harry continues his story with another year full of events that will completely change his life. New friendships will come and go, love, heartbreak, competition, the search for success and power will lead this part of the story, which is darker and scarier than the previous ones.
Harry Potter goes to his fourth school year at Hogwarts, but, before that, he goes to the famous Quiddich World Cup this year together with Ron, his best friend and his family. Celebrating the victory of their favorite team, the place is invaded by an attack of some dangerous wizards, who perform a spell where the "Dark Mark" is displayed in the sky. Said wizards are later detected as "Dementors", the followers of the "Dark Lord" Lord Voldemort.
After such a dark and mysterious interlude, Harry Potter's fourth year at Hogwards begins with a special event called, "The Triwizard Tournament" where Three of the most prestigious wizarding schools in all of England will compete for the grand prize and prestige, as well as the privilege of being remembered forever. The selection is made at random and one of the best magicians from each school is chosen to compete in the event. However, this year, the selection is a little different from what is normally seen and, instead of three, there are four chosen, the fourth being Harry Potter surprisingly. Hate, envy, betrayals and many more things will happen to our candidate while he manages to compete in the tournament and thus make it to the final alive.

One of my favorite movies in this saga, with an incredible story development, characters and spectacular scenes. The special effects and the CGI of this fourth installment is worthy of admiration and better than that of the previous films. The development of each of the characters is also very well done and you can enjoy the story. This part has so many elements and scenes that it is impossible not to choose it among the best of all Harry's movies. The ending, of course, is what makes a story like this something sadder and more depressing.
But what we can highlight the most and the scene that I loved the most in the whole film is the appearance of Lord Voldemort, the main villain of the story. Her first meeting with Harry and the struggle she had to even survive him is one of the best moments in the entire story, not just this movie. Without a doubt it is an incredible movie, full of magic and a complete world of fantasy.
This movie definitely deserves a 10/10. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet, just like the rest of the Harry Potter movies.

That's right, the story of our favorite character from the world of magic and fantasy continues with more adventures and more mysteries to discover. Surely one of my favorite movies in this series and the adaptation of the books that has received the most positive reviews from audiences and fans. With a great success compared to its predecessors, the production and direction of this third part is far removed from the previous ones, this part being a little darker and more disturbing.
Harry is going to his third year of classes at Hogwards, but, before this happens, he has to attend a visit at his uncle's house where he is living. Due to the misbehavior of his uncle's sister, who is visiting, Harry puts a spell on her by turning her into a floating balloon and letting her go to heaven. He escapes from his house and goes to the living room of the order of magicians to deal with the case because the use of magic outside of school is not allowed. However, Harry is forgiven and goes to Hogwards without issue. Before arriving, however, he is met with several warnings as a dangerous wizard who has just escaped from Azcaban, the most secure wizarding prison in the world, is on the loose.
Because of this, the school Principal hires Dementors (dark beings that consume people's joy and good memories) to protect the school. However, Harry bumps into one of them on the train going to Hogwards. Thanks to the help of the new teacher, he is saved but just barely. This is just an introduction to what Harry and his friends are going to face this year at school, a very dangerous place due to Dementors and a possible killer on the loose. The secrets of this prisoner and his relationship with Harry and his past will be discovered this year.

As I already mentioned at the beginning, this third part is one of my favorite Harry Potter movies. Both its script, photography, direction, acting, story, characters, special effects, everything is excellently done and it is a pleasure to see this masterpiece of fantasy cinema. But, what strikes me the most is the way in which they combine said fantasy with suspense and the disturbing, adding a gloomy atmosphere to such an extent that it disturbs you but that also fascinates you at the same time.
This movie has so many scenes and elements that make it the best of all, without a doubt. Since the development of the protagonists, such as the addition of the werewolves and time travel, this feature film is an incredible adventure with many emotions and details to consider. Every time I see it, I am amazed at how perfectly done it is. A film that promises and meets all the expectations of the entire public. I highly recommend watching it if you haven't already, just like the other Harry Potter movies.
Without a doubt, this movie deserves a 10/10, the first best rating in this entire saga.

With a slightly darker tone, with the same characters as always, this film continues the story that started from the first installment and introduces us more to some of the secrets it keeps Hogwarts and we will also see the return of the "Dark Lord". This film, although it returned to have the same success as the first, has elements that complement it, in addition to a better development of the main characters.
The film continues a year after the events that occurred in the first installment with Harry Potter waiting for the date to go to Hogwards again to study that year. However, a house-elf visits him to warn him that if he goes this year terrible things will happen to him, for which he asks him not to go. However, he ignores her warning and, instead of staying at his uncle's house where he lives and where they treat him badly and despise him, he prefers to go to school even if his life is in danger.
Harry begins to study that year, but many things will happen that will put his life at risk. Not to mention that an old enemy is back and he's out for revenge. However, our protagonist will discover some secrets about the school and his deceased parents that will help him defeat this enemy. The forest will be one of the most dangerous places, but it's better than being in the school at that time because of the dangers in it.

The continuation of a fantastic story, with interesting and memorable characters, well-done and aged special effects and a wonderful soundtrack. This school manages to maintain the emotion and impact that the first film had, as well as giving it a continuation and opening the way to a world of fantasy and magic that each time becomes bigger and bigger and mysterious.
While it is true that this sequel deals with some elements such as suspense, drama and gore, the film still contains a bright and light tinge for those who are fans of the story. This is the last film of this style that we will see from Harry Potter since, as a spoiler, the following films will be much darker and scarier. A movie that I recommend watching, like the rest of the complete saga.
This sequel, although I loved and marveled enough, I admit that it is not my favorite Harry Potter movie. Which is why I'll give it a 7.5/10 as well.
