I think the decision to feature  MacArthur Park in the Beetlejuice sequel is a bold and exciting choice. Tim Burton's desire to intensify the homage with a full dance sequence to this iconic song demonstrates a creative and innovative approach to storytelling. The use of such a distinctive and lengthy track like MacArthur Park to drive the narrative of the film's climax adds a unique and memorable element to the movie  elevating the viewer's experience and creating a lasting impact.

I believe that the incorporation of significant music moments like this not only pays homage to the original film but also showcases the filmmakers  commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering a fresh take on a beloved classic. By infusing such a well-known song with a new context and purpose within the storyline  Beetlejuice Beetlejuice promises to offer a dynamic and engaging cinematic experience that resonates with both fans of the original movie and new audiences alike.
