Hello friends. Looking for what movie from last year to watch that caught my attention, I came across footage from one of the biggest and most popular franchises in the science fiction and action genres. Surely some of you have seen a movie of the famous character and antagonist "Predator" who is an alien who seeks to be the best of his species, seeking to hunt the most powerful beings in the universe and thus evolve. On this occasion, we find that this hunter will go to a land where humanity is going through a time of conquest, where the indigenous people were still feared in North America.

During the time of the 1700s, a group of indigenous people called "the Comanches" who live near the mountains have a girl who has been raised as a village healer, however, her dreams are to be a hunter, like her older brother. her. But, it is impossible for her without first performing an important ritual where she will have to face one of the most dangerous animals in order to demonstrate her skills and abilities as a hunter. Despite not having the strength and tenacity that men have, she has skills and intelligence that helps her a lot in tracking and hunting animals.

In the mountains, she encounters a threat that has literally fallen from the sky and is hunting the most dangerous animals in the forest. Among the most skilled hunters in the village is our protagonist, who serves as a tracker, who goes in search of a tiger that has been causing trouble. While confronting the tiger, they indirectly encounter a dangerous but invisible being. She seeks answers regarding what she saw and decides to go deeper into the forest and hunt said being that she, she will soon find out, will be the most dangerous hunter that has ever touched the earth.

As a fan of the franchise and a follower of its previous films, this recent new footage is the return of one of the most famous and influential sci-fi antagonists in cinema history, to say the least. The way in which it is produced, the development and the completely tense scenes that the film has are some of the details that can be highlighted the most in this cinematographic masterpiece. What strikes me most is that this film does not have many monologues and focuses more on showing us the point of view of the protagonist, who is experiencing a whole sequence of unprecedented and unexpected situations.

The CGI is so perfectly done that it combines very well with the rest, not counting the shots, the costumes and the action and suspense scenes it has. Despite not having many special effects, such as explosions and advanced weapons, the quality of action that the film has from start to finish is very well done, so that it hooks you quite a bit. By focusing more on the characters' skills and abilities when fighting, the action looks much more pure and exciting, without the need for so many effects and explosions.

Overall, I loved this movie a lot, more than expected despite it being a modern movie. For these reasons, I want to give it a rating of 10/10 when it comes to the sci-fi and action genres.
