Hello everyone. New year, new tips and new tools. This is what we bring to the METV community and to the new members that are joining us so they know how to create quality content. Many don't know how to create a quality post, so we have decided to teach you a few things that can help you when writing, editing, uploading and sharing a post.

Before continuing, you should keep in mind that METV only approves original content. That is to say that posts with information extracted from the internet and without links, sources or personal opinions are not approved by the community moderation team. This may sound a bit strong to some, but copying and pasting content from other sources and sharing it as if it were your own is considered 'Plagiarism' and is subject to banning from the community and the entire BBS network.

Another important point to take into account before we start is the fact that when we talk about 'Quality Content' we also refer to our participation in supporting the content of others. Commenting, reacting, promoting and giving 'Tips' to other members' posts is an excellent way to make yourself known and be active in METV, which gives more value to the content that you will later share, thus receiving 'Feedback' from the others you supported.

Before continuing with the tips, I want to quickly explain to those new to METV or those who don't know how to create a post in METV, which also applies to the other Boards or communities of the BBS network. To begin with, it is as simple as going to the METV Board or Home and clicking on the bar that says 'Create Post'.

Then, you will be taken to a section where you will have to fill in some blanks in order to create your post for METV. You should start with the title, which should be something that catches people's attention. For example, as it is a community where we only talk about movies or TV series, you can choose to put only the name of the movie, for example "Titanic".

Then, you will have to choose the Feed, which will serve to classify your post so that people can access it more quickly on the METV Board. For example, you can choose the "Hollywood" Feed.

And finally, you will have to add content to your post, which I recommend you start by adding an image by clicking on the "+" button that will appear, where you will get a list of options, which will choose the image button to choose one of your gallery that you have downloaded from Google (this can be the billboard image of the movie or series that you are going to talk about in the post).

Now let's go with the tips, which I want to start with this one: use royalty-free images, which you can easily Google and download to add them to your post. You can also add links by clicking on the button that appears and choose the one that appears as a kind of "anchor", where you will have to add the link to the web page of the source of the information you are going to add to your post.

Another tip I give you is to add an OFFICIAL trailer to your post of the movie or TV series you are going to talk about. I recommend that you choose one where the video appears to play when you paste the link to the post, without anchoring or anything, just copy and paste.

The subtitles are one of the several tools that BBS offers us in this section at the moment of creating a post. This can be very useful to order and segment your content so that it looks more attractive and easy to read for others. I recommend using them for every three paragraphs you write in your post.

For example, in the case of a movie or series, you can start by adding the image and the first three paragraphs would be describing a bit in your own words what the particular movie or series is about and then add a subtitle where you can write "Trailer and personal opinion" and continue by adding the link to the trailer and your opinion of the movie.

I'm sure most of you reading this post will be new or No-Partner to the community, that is, you don't have access to monetization of your posts. However, do not let this limit you and start generating discussions with the community with the same posts you share. This can be achieved by adding a question to the reader at the end of your post.

You can also add: "Have you watched this movie? What did you think?" You can also add: "You can leave me your opinion about this movie in the comments section". These are just examples of what you can add at the end of each post to invite those who read it to comment and thus generate interaction.

Finally, I advise you not to leave unanswered any comment left, react and respond to each comment with the idea of following a line of conversation so that the person returns to the post to continue answering what you answered, and then asking questions related to what is discussed in your post.

Let's continue with the tools I have prepared for all the members of the MEV community. Let's start with one that I'm sure will be very useful to all members, or most of them, because many of them find it difficult to speak or read in English and translating their posts is really complicated.

For this, I have one of the best translators that can be found on the internet, no, it is not Google Translator, but one called "DeepL Translator", which you can download both on your cell phone and use it on your PC as an extension or just by going to its official website. It can help you a lot to translate your posts in a more accurate way and with options more easily.

Another tool that I use a lot and that I recommend to everyone is the platform or application "Canva" which is the one that will help you to edit, create and even modify any image you have or that you are looking for and need for your posts. You can also edit videos, make banners, make thumbnails for YouTube videos and thousands of other options and tools. This is the most complete and useful tool I offer you all so far.
