Tips and Tools for Creating Content on METVTips and Tools for Creating Content on METV

Hello everyone. Due to the changes and updates that the BBS Network platform has had recently, we are very clear about the goal of the METV community now: to grow and improve our content. However, to achieve this, we must first know how to create and share content on the platform, as well as promote it on social networks.

For this reason, I have decided to update the previous anchored post "Tips and tools for creating content on METV" to a new, more updated version with more things for the community. Our community of movie fans is looking for Content Creators who make high-quality posts and attract people from other parts of the internet who share our same likes for movies and TV series.

Partners have the duty to create quality and engaging content that promotes the METV community and attracts new users to the Board. Creating, sharing, interacting, and promoting should be the important points that should always be fulfilled in the community.  On the other hand, newcomers or those who are on METV to promote and support the content that is shared, also have the right to interact and attract new people who like the same topics as us.

How to create a Post on METV (BBS Network)

Let's start with a quick guide on how you can create and share a post on the METV Board. This also applies to all the other communities that make up the BBS Network platform. To get started, the first thing you obviously need to do is to register with your personal email address on the platform, add a username, profile picture, and description, and join the METV Board by clicking on the following link.

Then, go to the section selected in red below to create a post.

Next, you should see a section where you will have to fill in some boxes to put together your METV post. Let's start with the title of the post, which should be clear, short, and understandable. Avoid adding a lot of Emojis or using all capital letters.

Next is to choose the "Flair" of the post, which is made up of genres and types of movies and series. Choose the appropriate one.

Then, you will see two buttons where, the first one, you can upload a video you have made or downloaded on your computer that talks about the movie or TV series. I recommend that you make your own videos, if you can, talking about and giving your opinion of the movie or series, and avoid uploading videos of trailers or shorts of the movie or series.

The second button is to add a "Poll" where you can place a question and several answer options to improve the interaction of the post. Although I do not recommend you to use them for personal reviews, or if you are going to use them, explain well what and how to choose because the poll is always placed at the beginning of the post.

The next and largest box is where we will add the content or information that we are going to put in our post. I recommend that, whatever you are going to place, first write it in a separate text document to be able to correct it better and then copy and paste it into this box. You can also add direct links to web pages, tweets, Youtube videos, and other networks.

Among the options offered by this section, you can add subtopics, images, boxes, lists, and more. I recommend you use as many of these options as possible to improve the quality and presentation of the information you are going to share in this post.

In paragraphs, you can select them and add shading, bold, italics, underlines, and more. You can use them to highlight important parts of the post.

In the end, I suggest you leave a question to motivate the reader to interact and answer it in a comment.

Tools to improve your content on the Internet

DeepL Translate

Let's talk now about tools that can be very useful to improve the content you will share in the METV community. I am constantly testing digital tools and platforms to improve the editing of content on the Internet, one of the ones I will share with you in this post is a translator that many of the members here who do not know how to write or speak English will find very useful.

It is called DeepL Translate and, unlike Google's, this one has a wider variety of words and phrases to translate, as well as better accuracy than the original translation. Not only can you translate words (maximum 3000) but also documents. It also has a browser extension, but I don't recommend downloading it because it presents problems when posting to BBS. On the other hand, it also has a version for Android and iOS so you can download it. 100% recommended by me and millions of other users who rank it as the first best alternative translator in the world.

To start using it, you can go to the following link:

Canva

The next tool that I will share with you I have also mentioned in the previous post is where you can find tens of thousands of free templates that you can use to create almost any type of design. And when I say any type of design it is from images for any social network or website to making videos and original designs with AI.

Personally, I use it to make the featured images for all my posts, plus logos, covers, presentations, and any other multimedia design you can imagine. It's totally free and you can use it just by registering with your email address.

To start using it, you can go to the following link:

Grammarly

Next, I will share with you a tool that I have recently started using and it has helped me a lot when it comes to correcting some translations that I do in all my posts. It is understandable that many of us who create content in METV do not know how to write or translate our posts well due to problems with spelling and grammar, because of this, I will share with you this tool that you can download on any device. It only works for very few languages, but we will only work with English which is the default option offered by this tool.

When you download and install it, you will have access to a button that will detect any spelling mistakes in each piece of writing and will give you alternatives to correct and improve the translation. It is very intuitive so you just have to follow the steps and test it in the next posts you make.

To start using it, you can go to the following link:

GPT Chat

That's right, the following tool is one that everybody knows on the internet and it is one that I have been using quite a lot on a daily basis when building a post. It is true that one of the flaws of this AI is that it only has information available until 2021, however, you can use it to help you build articles, and summaries and answer any questions or suggestions for your posts.

You can use the free version as your personal virtual assistant. You can also ask them for suggestions to promote your posts on social networks, besides giving you a good list of keywords that can help you to improve your SEO and Marketing.

To start using it, you can go to the following link:

Clipchamp

Finally, I leave you with a free video editor that, like Canva, you can choose from thousands of templates for videos of any type and platform. You can edit, record, modify, and add images, gifs, and quality short films, as well as effects and transitions. This tool is also quite intuitive and you can try using it for the next review posts of your favorite movies and series.

You can use either their web version or download their application by registering with your personal email address. I suggest you use royalty-free images and videos.

To start using it, you can go to the following link:

I hope this guide of tips and tools will help you to improve your content on METV and your social networks. Remember that, if you want to be an METV Partner, you must prove to be a good Content Creator that attracts new people and generates interactions in the community.

Tell me, which of these tools have you used before and what did you think? You can leave me your answer in the comments.

All the best.
