Flick Chat and News Flick Chat and News Happiness, which some people believe is summed up in money, but the truth of the movie confirms that happiness has very many faces. Some of them include safety, some include a touch from your child in the midst of sorrows, some include a joke from a child without any obligation that makes you smile, and what is most important is the happiness that a father finds when he achieves happiness for his little child.
The true beauty of the movie lies in the huge amount of motivational energy that it strikes to us the viewers. Every time I watch the movie or some shorts from it in YB , I come out with a strange positive tendency that makes me unable to escape from comparing my life conditions to what someone like Chris Gardner has suffered and what I experienced. This is one of the greatest motivational movie we ve seen. The deep impact it leaves on the viewer makes everything in life very easy! It makes you rearrange things with yourself after seeing one of the most inspiring stories ever. There are many powerful scenes in the history of... Cinema that sticks in the memory and is difficult to forget, and this movie has a lot of it. You are watching a person fighting for what he wants, a war between him and those around him to get the least things that provide him with a normal living life. The idea of making a movie about this topic is something great and crazy in itself. It requires a director who is experienced and passionate enough to confront the pictorial and writing crises that stop him in order to convey this strange story to people, and an actor who understands what needs to be done and knows perfectly well how to slip behind the character being performed. Will Smith’s performance here is one of the most wonderful things I have ever seen.
But for many, what truly distinguishes the movie is the relationship that rarely occurs between a father and his son on screen. I do not know how many movies have had a real father-son relationship between them that has such strong chemistry and harmony. Their relationship is the focus of all events and the thing for which Chris continues to receive life’s blows. The element The only joyful movie in a movie that is not painful and sad as much as it is realistic and honest. From this standpoint, the movie can be viewed as being about the spirit of fatherhood and the life role of the father for the sake of his family, and the extent of what he opposes and what he is prepared to do in order to provide a happy life for the children.
Will Smith, The movie is considered a turning point in his artistic history . I could feel that I have known Chris Gardner for many years and that he is so close, even though he does not provide us with any background on the character’s history, but he embodied the character with all ability so that we could find his performance. His performance in the train bathroom scene took only a few seconds, but it will remain in our memories forever.
Director Gabriel Moschino , was able to provide us with a vivid embodiment of emotions that we felt in every moment of the film. Even during silence, he was able to convey us inside the emotions felt by the actors.
It is rare to find movies without a weak point, but this film deserves a full mark from my point of view, and in the end it the movie might have very different enjoyment and meaning for people that have kids , can't know until that happen ;)Feb 11, 2024 Flick Chat and News Flick Chat and News Flick Chat and News Flick Chat and News Perhaps many were expecting the movie to focus more on the atomic bomb, but no, it dealt more with the story of Oppenheimer and his psychological struggle after his deadly invention and the story of his betrayal later. The story is devoid of action and there are few scenes of explosions. The dialogues take up a very large part of the story, which sometimes leads to boredom for some viewers.
Any Nolan movie must contain manipulations with time, which was the same case here. There are two timelines in the movie, and the scenes move from one timeline to another, and sometimes events accelerate in both timelines at the same time, which draws the viewer in.
In this film, the most dangerous enemy in the film and the event was not Oppenheimer nor the scientists, or the politicians, but rather it was time.
Let's remember a little about what the conflict was...
The Second World War, after the assassination of Mussolini (Hitler's most important ally in Europe) and the loss of the Nazis in stalingrad, this is where the nuclear race started, Hitler needed it more than his opponents because he seemed to be the weaker party in the war and his cards fell, so what remained was the nuclear hope that perhaps He turns the tables.
In the movie, we see events and matters through Oppenheimer's eyes. The important historical events that the film did not review are because Oppenheimer had no perspective on them. Oppenheimer was not his enemy. He was a scientist. He knew very well what would happen if Hitler possessed the nuclear bomb, and he knew that the nuclear bomb would not survive. In fact, most of the information was taken secretly from the Nazis, so it was a matter of time before the Nazis made the bomb
And here we come to the biggest enemy facing the world and Oppenheimer. We all know that the nuclear bomb is something that would have been discovered anyway, whether by Oppenheimer or anyone else, but the danger facing Robert’s eyes is that Hitler possessed the bomb before them.
Therefore, the real danger of the movie was not the nuclear bomb, but rather time. Nolan wanted us to fear time with him by narrating the events in a reverse way and going through what the hero goes through. Therefore, Oppenheimer was afraid of time because of his insight. If the Nazis were armed with the bomb before them, we would all be under the rule of them.
Another thing that I was very surprised by was the moral dilemma that Oppenheimer experienced.
Oppenheimer is a person obsessed with sciences such as chemistry and physics, and one of the most famous scientists at that time. All hopes was on him to complete the manufacture of the bomb. His country is facing a war in the middle of a world war. The Nazis want to rule the world. Oppenheimer was faced with a dilemma: Is making this bomb wrong because it is a weapon of mass destruction? Thousands will die. And it will end the war, bring down the Nazis, and make America victorious. Or is it right because the weapon of mass destruction will preserve peace on the basis that if everyone possesses it, countries will be afraid to declare war because of the enormous powers they possess, and every country will be afraid of harm. This is what Oppenheimer thought. We do not certainly know how true Oppenheimer's ideas or thinking were, but this is his perspective, and what may reinforce this view is what he did later.
This psychological conflict was not the only one, but there was another one, which is that after hearing about the retreat of Germany and Japan, the analysts decided that there was no need for the bomb, but he came to the scene and said :
"They won't fear it until they understand it. And they won't understand it until they've used it"
Here you can understand Oppenheimer's motives from the perspective of whether he really wanted to detonate the bomb in order for the world to see how powerful it was to achieve the idea of keeping peace, or was he just overcome by selfishness and greatness and wanted the world to see his achievement?
These conflicts and many others created one of the most real characters in biographical movies that aroused my interest. The amount of ups and downs and psychological conflicts that he experienced were very interesting. I now understand why Nolan said that he may be the most important man in our history.
The question is: Was Oppenheimer innocent or did the movie exonerate him?

But, I don't agree with the complaint often made about this movie. I think it is still liked because of its special feeling and newness.
The movie's success was all due to Macaulay Culkin's , I mean he was the biggest child star in the world back then. A lot of things were going on in his life. You can't be too harsh on him here, though. He really is pitch perfect. Once in a while, he can be a little too cute and Hamm, but I think that's intentional to balance out the more aggressive moments. He has a very distinct way of talking that's not too grown up like Fred Savage and the Wizard, but also not too childish like the Olsen twins in Full House.
The movie takes place in the McCallister family. And what a shity family lol , The movie has received a lot of criticism for portraying the family too mean, but it helps if you've ever met a larger family. They are shown as very messy while getting ready for a journey to Paris. This picture of a busy family, with all its worries and pressures, is similar to the wider experience of holiday time spent with your family. While the family's seeming harshness might surprise people, when we look at it more closely it adds real depth to the story.
As the story goes on, Kevin's smart tricks made for silly thieves become a movie lesson in making people laugh. These tricks, done with amazing stunts, Every trap really looks like it hurts, but it never goes too far in taking us out of the comedy except the one.
Anyway , at the end i guess everyone would agree it's a solid movie , I don't know if today's kids will like it tho.
