FCN Movie Club - The Pursuit of Happyness
Happiness, which some people believe is summed up in money, but the truth of the movie confirms that happiness has very many faces. Some of them include safety, some include a touch from your child in the midst of sorrows, some include a joke from a child without any obligation that makes you smile, and what is most important is the happiness that a father finds when he achieves happiness for his little child.
The true beauty of the movie lies in the huge amount of motivational energy that it strikes to us the viewers. Every time I watch the movie or some shorts from it in YB , I come out with a strange positive tendency that makes me unable to escape from comparing my life conditions to what someone like Chris Gardner has suffered and what I experienced. This is one of the greatest motivational movie we ve seen. The deep impact it leaves on the viewer makes everything in life very easy! It makes you rearrange things with yourself after seeing one of the most inspiring stories ever. There are many powerful scenes in the history of... Cinema that sticks in the memory and is difficult to forget, and this movie has a lot of it. You are watching a person fighting for what he wants, a war between him and those around him to get the least things that provide him with a normal living life. The idea of making a movie about this topic is something great and crazy in itself. It requires a director who is experienced and passionate enough to confront the pictorial and writing crises that stop him in order to convey this strange story to people, and an actor who understands what needs to be done and knows perfectly well how to slip behind the character being performed. Will Smith’s performance here is one of the most wonderful things I have ever seen.
But for many, what truly distinguishes the movie is the relationship that rarely occurs between a father and his son on screen. I do not know how many movies have had a real father-son relationship between them that has such strong chemistry and harmony. Their relationship is the focus of all events and the thing for which Chris continues to receive life’s blows. The element The only joyful movie in a movie that is not painful and sad as much as it is realistic and honest. From this standpoint, the movie can be viewed as being about the spirit of fatherhood and the life role of the father for the sake of his family, and the extent of what he opposes and what he is prepared to do in order to provide a happy life for the children.
Will Smith, The movie is considered a turning point in his artistic history . I could feel that I have known Chris Gardner for many years and that he is so close, even though he does not provide us with any background on the character’s history, but he embodied the character with all ability so that we could find his performance. His performance in the train bathroom scene took only a few seconds, but it will remain in our memories forever.
Director Gabriel Moschino , was able to provide us with a vivid embodiment of emotions that we felt in every moment of the film. Even during silence, he was able to convey us inside the emotions felt by the actors.
It is rare to find movies without a weak point, but this film deserves a full mark from my point of view, and in the end it the movie might have very different enjoyment and meaning for people that have kids , can't know until that happen ;)
