My 2024 Best Picks

Some good movies of 2024 are given below:
It's still early, but 2024 is already shaping up to be an important year for multiplexes. The past year has been amazing. Many thanks to Oppenheimer, Barbie and more, but the next 12 months promise a lot. Denis Villeneuve reveals the long-awaited Dune sequel and George Miller returns to the bullet farm with Furiosa: The Saga of Mad.l max, the revival of the Alien franchise, and plenty of big screen movies to get you excited. The adorable All of Us Strangers, Yorgos Lanthimos', lively Poor People and Luca Guadagnino's ,sexy tennis psychodrama , and The Contenders ,are just some of the good reasons to go to the cinema.
I.Zone of Interest:
Great artists can offer radically new interpretations of familiar subjects. The same goes for Jonathan Glaser's masterpiece, The Holocaust, which quotes Hannah Arendt's phrase "the banality of evil" and shows what the banality of evil looks like in practice. The family life of Auschwitz camp commander Rudolf Hoss (Christian Friedel) and his wife (Sandra Wheeler) is a fantasy of a cursed family. Fear is invisible to the eye, but the most important thing is not to reach the ear. Sound designer,Johnny Burns' soundscape includes guards' screams and rifle fire, interspersed with scenes of gardening and children playing.
II. POOR Things
Is it a sensual journey of coming of age on helium, or is it a story of problematic sexual exploitation? The story of Yorgos Lanthimos' unusual adaptation of Scottish author,Alasdair Gray's 1992 cult novel is overdue, but a little far-fetched. And yet, along with Dogtooth, The Lobster and The Favorite, the Greeks are masters of creating a one-sided and unforgiving view of the human experience. and a Victorian riff on Frankenstein played more vividly than usual by Magnet,Emma Stone. Version Monster is no exception. The craziest movie ever, nominated for 11 Oscars.
III.DUNE PART II :
Has Denis Villeneuve ever missed anything? He's definitely hitting, when it comes to producing blockbusters, and his first sequel continues that hot streak. After the first Dune sought to reinterpret Frank Herbert's sci-fi epic, the second adds moral complexity and epic desert battles to the world-building and galactic intrigue. But even ridiculously star-studded actors can't compete with these monstrous sandworms. It's the giant subway train racing across the sandy soil of Arrakis that provides the coolest motif for this impressive film.
IV.All of Us strangers:
A floor-breaker, in the sense that it will make you sob in the cinema . Andrew Hay's ghostly love story may be a British masterpiece. It's the story of a screenwriter (Andrew Scott) living a lonely life in a London house, interrupted by a mysterious neighbor (Paul Mescal) who visits the childhood home of his parents (Claire Foy). And Jamie Bell is ready to meet him. The work is at least semi-autobiographical (it was specifically filmed in Hay's childhood home), which makes the undercurrents (connection, loneliness, missing mom and dad) both personal and universal.
V.Furiosa : A Mad Max Saga
No film has captivated audiences more than George Miller's ,Mad Max series, and Fury Road and now, Furiosa are the most popular films since The Lord of the Rings, which broke box office records with near-deranged shock and awe. Fury Road, a generation-spanning historical tale that stars Alela Brown and Anya Taylor,Joy stepping into Charlize Theron's shoes, is an added narrative, but Chris Hemsworth is a joy to watch as the inventive, effective Dementus, and so are the fights. The game was as exciting as anything before it, so no one likes this Australian doctor.
What are you planning to watch?
I am going to watch Furiosa : A Mad Max Saga perhaps.
