Ask Male Actors Why They Are Getting Paid More'

Movies can make you financially Independent and extremely rich if you are playing a lead role in a movie specially superhit . But mostly the male actors get a lot more money  then the female ones, although it depends that who is playing the lead role, influence and popularity.

Here is an example:

Actress Tabu is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, which also features Ajay Devgn in the lead role. Ahead of the release, the actress shared her thoughts on the trending topic of pay parity in the Indian film industry. She questioned why male actors aren't questioned about the subject

During a conversation with We Are Yuvaa, Tabu shared why the gender pay disparity in the Indian film industry still exists and why women actors are frequently asked about it. She said whenever a member of the media questions women about pay parity, the female actors will respond that a guy gets paid more. "Why don’t you ask the person who is paying them more," Tabu said.

The actor went on to remark that she believes people frequently try to sensationalize the situation, and all she can say is either, "I hate that I’m being paid less" or "I’m okay with what I’m being paid."

She further added, “Why don’t you ask the male actor why you are getting paid more? This might change the perspective, and the whole thing will change if there is an outside lens. Physicality is always in the context of the lens that is being carried.”

The film was earlier scheduled to be released on July 5. Later, the release date was changed to July 26. Now, finally, the film will hit the big screens on August 2.

I don't know maybe it's topic of a gender discrimination or general trend of society how movies the actually go . Its obvious that Male actors who are playing a lead role are getting more paid and actually deserve it. I believe that it Depends upon popularity of an actor who is playing a lead role like he is more popular, whether the audience will watch the movie due to his personal influence and past successful history or he is playing the debut. I think various sectors play role in it and it's not quite a simple process. Some actors demand  a share of the movie revenue and some demand a separate  money.

This point might be true in some examples but here I think she is totally wrong . The movie is famous due to the Ajay Devgan popularity and personally if I watch it ,I will watch due to Ajay Devgan. She has no successful role in the Bollywood industry and she can be regarded as a flop actress who never gained popularity and fan following . It may be a  matter of creating controversy to get attention. Its obvious things that she is getting paid less than Ajay Devgan and I think it's quite fair. The movie can run without her and they can replace her but ajay  perfectly suits the rule.

So it depends upon a movie whether a female actresses playing a lead role and movie concept it is based upon and according to box office success. In general trend says that male actors get more.
