Truth about animators on producing anime !😥

I have posted 3 weeks ago , a question about  the reality of anime industry?

I got an answer , which it was correct , but i wanna add more to that :

Before the Corona pandemic, statistics indicated that in Japan about 200 anime were produced annually, which is a huge number given if you know that anime is a product that is largely manually worked on, unlike, for example, cartoons that have completely moved to drawing based on CGI technology.(using computer in drawing and animation)

But not long ago, schools for teaching drawing and animation for anime began to close their doors, and the profession of animation became scarce in the industry despite its importance and main role, and the reasons are not hidden from anyone( weak salaries, unacceptable working hours and continuous pressure to provide what is better, an equation that is not logical or fair, but it can Even be a murderer.

You might think that describing the “murderer” may seem an exaggeration, but unfortunately this is the reality. The difficulties of the anime industry are not insignificant, and what suffers most from it is the Animators team, and an example of what is happening in the industry was the death of a member of the animation team of Studio A1 Pictures (in the future we will discuss more about anime studios ,it is seems we have a Ghibli stan 😬 *-* don't take it seriously 😅🤣 )

in 2010, when the police proved that the cause of his death was suicide as a result of unacceptable work pressures, as investigations determined that the 28-year-old man at the time of his death was working 600 hours per month! A very terrifying figure, that is, he was working for 20 hours per day! 🙄

The sad thing is that the majority, if not all, of those who join this industry and specialize in this field do this out of passion and love for anime and the realization of a dream that began since childhood, after watching a work of art that created in many a love to be part of that adventure.

Some animation studios resort to Freelancers or volunteers who have a passion and desire to work in the anime industry, forcing them to accept temporary jobs for free or for a symbolic fee in the hope that they will officially join an Animators team in the future.

Despite the tragedy of this article and the tragedy of this industry at times, people like this can give us some hope, that perhaps one day the anime industry may reach the end of this dark tunnel, to a new light illuminated by passion and love for this beautiful industry.
