You can because you must and you just do

Greetings to all Sativa Family Members  🥀You can because you must and you just do 🥀 There is an endless list of things I think I cannot do. For example, I think I cannot play any musical instrument very well, do a hand stand, or perform surgery on any one for any reason. I also don’t feel any real interest in doing those things. But Eleanor didn’t say the things – she spoke singularly. She said the thing. One thing. The thing is the pull of your passion you have been denying yourself. It’s what you truly want. It could be your profession, your big adventure, your satisfying relationship, your creative outlet, your expanded knowledge, your social advocacy. It’s most definitely not your safety and your security. Why? Because the thing you think you cannot do is the thing you think will expose you. It will expose you to failure, censure, poverty, loneliness, pain, and loss. A good friend of mine is famous for affirming that when someone says they cannot do something, what they mean is they are unwilling to do something. What she’s addressing is the underlying choices we make every moment of every day. When we say things absolutely cannot be done, such as “I cannot talk right now,” what we mean is that we are unwilling to talk at the expense of something else we are doing. When we say, “I cannot have children, what we mean is we are unable to conceive, and we are limiting the infinite possibilities of having children, such as the ability to adopt, or place ourselves in a role where we are nurturing children we are not biologically related to. We say, “It’s just not the same,” and it isn’t. But that does not mean we must deny the possibility. It means we are unwilling to because we have firm expectations about how something must happen in order for it to be valid. Share your thoughts 🤔🤔

I am grateful for what I am and what I have. My thanksgiving is perpetual

Greetings to all Sativa Family Members  I hope you are all well  🥀🥀I am grateful for what I am and what I have. My thanksgiving is perpetual🥀🥀 I am grateful for what I am and what I have. My thanksgiving is perpetual.” Before modern neuroscience confirmed the numerous benefits of gratefulness, this sentiment shows that 19th century poet Henry David Thoreau already knew the importance of experiencing gratefulness in his life. Those of us living today in societies of material affluence often take for granted what we receive on a regular basis. And because of how our brains are wired, we humans tend to focus primarily on what we lack (or perceive as lack!) rather than the many privileges we already enjoy. Yet what we focus on can expand. I believe gratefulness is a function of attention; it can be cultivated through sincere self-reflection. I have personally experienced the benefits of engaging in gratefulness practices during the last seven years. I was immersed in the process of working on a book series on the world’s wisdom traditions that includes a book on Jesus’ love and wisdom teachings. I am very grateful because I was able to publish this book as well as others in the series against all odds. The creative process was both exhilarating and arduous, stretching me sometimes to my limits. Whenever I was on the verge of falling into a negative thought pattern I focused on my heart center, gradually shifting my attention to the countless blessings in my life. A personal “gratefulness list” is a simple yet powerful tool we can all apply regularly. I was  moved and humbled as I realized that I never seemed to be running out of things to be grateful for. If it doesn't open, it's not your door

Greetings to all Sativa Family Members  I hope you are all well  🥀If it doesn't open, it's not your door 🥀 Nothing is impossible or so you thought… until you find yourself in a situation where you don’t get the results you have desperately (and sometimes eagerly) been wishing for. A failed exam, a rejected job application, a promotion not granted, a relationship that does not progress further when things like this happen, are you one to question? Or do you move forward? I am a firm believer that things always happen for a reason even if you don’t know or understand what the reason is at the time. Yes you need to take life by the reigns and steer it towards the direction you want it too and yes you need to put in the hard work because you reap what you sow but there will always be things that no matter what you do, will never be something you can control. Breathe. Let go. If things were meant to happen, they will happen. In saying this, I am not telling you to give up  only that you need to be PATIENT. Maybe it is not yet the right time. Maybe it is meant for someone else who needed it more than you do. Maybe it is a lesson. “If it doesn’t open it isn’t your door.” But do not despair. There are other doors that will open for you — some you might not even have dreamed of opening yourself… until one day you find yourself further along the road, looking back, and finally understanding how all of it was meant to happen the way it did. Hold the vision Trust the process

Greetings to all Sativa Family Members  🥀Hold the vision Trust the process 🥀 As human beings, we are naturally inclined to want instant gratification. We want results, and we want them now. However, achieving success requires a different approach. Success is a journey, not a destination. It requires time, patience, and hard work. It's important to have a vision of what we want to achieve and trust the process. Having a clear vision helps you to stay focused and motivated. It gives you direction and purpose, and it helps you to overcome obstacles along the way. When you have a vision, you are more likely to stay committed to achieving your goals. You know what you want, and you are willing to put in the effort to get it. A vision also helps you to stay on track when things get tough. It reminds you why you started and why you are willing to keep going. Trusting the process means believing in yourself and your abilities. It's about knowing that you have what it takes to achieve your goals, even if it takes longer than you anticipated. It's also about being open to learning and growing along the way. You may encounter setbacks, but trust that they are part of the process and that you will come out stronger on the other side. When you trust the process, you are more likely to stay committed to your goals. You understand that success takes time and that there are no shortcuts. You are willing to put in the effort, even when it's difficult because you know that the process is leading you toward your vision. To achieve success, it's important to have a balance between holding the vision and trusting the process. You need to know what you want to achieve, but you also need to be patient and willing to put in the work to get there. Remember that success is a journey, not a destination. Enjoy the process, learn from your experiences, and trust that you will achieve your goals. Share your thoughts 💭🤔

A good education is a foundation for a better future

Greetings to all Sativa Family Members  🥀A good education is a foundation for a better future 🥀 Just like we build strong foundations of our homes to make them last an for decades; the same approach should be followed for building a strong learning foundation for children. Early foundational learning is critical for a child’s later learning. In fact, a strong early learning foundation is the ladder to ensure a future where they can adapt and thrive. One cannot fully discover a child’s full potential if one only emphasizes on completing the set curriculum and content. What is key is nurturing essential life skills. When children are given sufficient time and space to build strong foundations with respect to skill development, it paves the way a future where they can make decisions and continue to be critical, creative thinkers and doers. Educationists need to emphasize on building strong foundations in terms of activities such as playing, singing, running, painting.  The importance of unstructured learning too cannot be emphasized, enough . These activities may be said to be  simple activities but their role in a child’s learning foundation is indispensable. They play a crucial role in building important cognitive, social and emotional skills. They also help build visual skills, listening skills, speaking skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills and enhance cognitive ability and decision-making. Share your thoughts 💭🤔

Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant

Greetings to all Sativa Family Members  🌱Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant 🌱 You see harvests are fun you know they're exciting it's it's like you're taking something. it's you can see the rewards of your hard work there is right in front of you and you can have a hundred things in your mind what you plan to do with that harvest. On the other hand planting is difficult job planting works on faith planting a seed works on uncertainty it works on the belief that something good will come out of it. When your work will demand planting seeds from you but you would really want harvests and the world rewards harvests you know you can take a picture of a harvest of the outcome of something posted on Facebook and you know everybody will appreciate but planting seeds his hard work it's something that does not get a lot of recognition.  But measure your day and your effectiveness for the future because you want to be in the moment. you want to enjoy the moment but you also want to keep yourself actively engaged in activities where you feel that in the in the future in the times to come you're going to get the rewards of what you're doing now. sometimes it takes longer than you expect to get the desired outcome from a new trials or from anything new that you've started Once again don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant  Share your thoughts 🤔🤔
