They are geniuses 

Here I have seen similar things in other animals, for example in the port area near my city, people who go fishing know that they will do so surrounded by opportunistic sea lions and cormorants that steal their bait or the fish that they are careless with. they captured haha... Animals can be very intelligent, without a doubt!
