Until recently, scientists thought that the fungus attacked the brain of its victim and could control it so that the victim moved to a suitable place for the fungus to reproduce. However, research has shown that the brain remains intact and the fungus attacks the insect's muscle fibers..

Photo by @mmk🤷♂️And the only thing that occurred to me is that when the mushrooms decide to attack us humans, this will be an even bigger horror than I thought..😖 Imagine that you want to go out for a beer with your friends, and the mushroom instead of you will drag you somewhere into a dark forest .. And your brain is still with friends drinking beer.. That's torture.. So I hope that we will only perceive mushrooms in this way (image above⬆️🍄) for a very long time..🤤
